Chelsea wearing the new home kit with UCL numbering. Pretty slowpoke game. Attack seems to be not clicking into gear. Luckily Hilario saved the penalty. 1-1 at best in my opinion.

same ol chelsea..striker is useless!

atleast we won . thats good enough.

quite boring i suppose. midfield cannot supply ball to the strikers. one good ball i saw is when bosingwa crosses and drogba failed to connect.

Nothing much on the frenly against Portsmouth, same formation, same old clueless when reach crowded penalty box. Portsmouth could even win the game.

The only positive i see is JOSH, a lot attempt on thru pass and i think he deserve to go out on loan to play week in week out.

good points

+ 1st half was better than 2nd at least
+ sturridge, zhirkov, benayoun are the players to watch this season!
+ good saved by hilario.
+ hilario will be no2 for cech.
+ 2nd win for AVB but against pompey was unconvincing!
+ hats off to pompey players they played better today!

bad points
----------------
+ same old chelsea performance overall (are we still under carlo's guidance?)
+ defensive errors still occurs in these kind of match!
+ pompey played liked a BPL club where else blues played liked a Championship club
+ turnbull was a waste purchased NOT improving! nervous display with low end clubs!


Things to improve on next friendly against MY

+ IF they played the same way, i will NOT surprise IF MY beat them on 21st July.
+ Defense NEEDS to be IMPROVISE!!!!
+ AVB is a 4-3-3 MAN, but still i dont see much diffrences on chelsea's gameplay...strikers are becoming wingers..? AVB MUST plan wisely on which player are suitable for 4-3-3 formation....
+ Why the heck anelka is still in blues shirt? he supposed to be leaving for US club.
