somehow i think it is the property agent who drive up all the HDB price  mad.gif
50-80k COV, if convert can straight buy a landed house aldi back home

where is your "back home" that can buy landed for under rm200k? hmm.gif

anyway yes it is in property agent's best interest to drive the prices higher. higher price = higher commission for them mah. but this is also supported by high demand - if got low demand high supply, agents however bullsh*t you also they got not much influence to increase prices.

how many decades ago is this? my old area in seri kembangan (i.e. sh*tty non-prime area), new condominium all going for rm400+ psf liao. my colleague nearby bought a small landed place like 1-2 years ago, land not even enough to park a car, built-up 700sqft also rm200k+ leh.

You have never travelled overseas before? To any country?

Well, not everyone got the opportunity to go out of the country mah. everytime i line up at immigration, sure there will be some people who turn up to the immigration counter without filling in the white card.

For you guys who travel often from SG-KL-SG, which flight you guys recommend? I only need the cheapest flight.

Just go to the airline websites, put in the dates you want to fly, and then compare for yourself la.

For me, I take either AA or Tiger, sometimes AA cheaper sometimes Tiger cheaper.

where got such thing? IRAS will determine ur final tax value, not dictated by company

well ... http://www.guidemesingapore.com/taxation/r...lding-tax-guide

When a Singapore company or individual pays a non-resident for services, a percentage of that payment must be withheld and handed over to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), hence the term withholding tax.

my POSB by default is token. i wish it's by sms. i have opposite thinking with you. it's more convenient not to carry the token if i'm going abroad. as long as international roaming in enabled, it should not have problem receiving sms overseas.

i agree haha. bring token is just another "thing" that need to take care of, can get lost, etc. sms better!

Any bank link both accounts in Malaysia and Singapore and no fee charges for transferring funds in between these two accounts? Eg. HSBC malaysia and HSBC singapore

Well I can tell you which bank you can't use. Stanchart charged me sgd50 for transferring some $$ from SCB Singapore to SCB Malaysia.

my gf's ltvp visa (using epec) 2 weeks approved liao leh. anyway got feeder bus from bt that takes you to main changi airport. can take mrt from there.

Anyone using mobile broadband in SG as their main internet (due to owner not allowing me to install fix home internet)?

depends on area. my iphone tethering at office area (near expo), super fast and reliable. go to my house at bedok south, 1-2 bars, super slow, frequent long outages.
