Ya probably ISP site filter. As it isn't government rule/ policy to block such sites.
*
Starhub is blocking it on behalf of MDA which is part of a government body. So doesnt this contradict the governments policy/rule to not block such sites when an arm of the government is requesting ISP to block it?

PAP and UMNO are basically the same hypocrites in different clothes.

I have rule out the option of staying in JB; I have relatives in SG, so I will have a peace of mind if my wife were to come down together with me. Yes, you are right, based on the working location, it is nearer to actually travel from JB according to my relatives.
Not now; in the future, probably yes but that depends what FMC can offer. Knew anyone from FMC?
Haha, your statement is very disturbing, bro. So did you manage to find out what are their reasons of leaving their previous company?  tongue.gif
*
I wouldnt ask them since it would be rather rude of me to do so. Plus i dont work for them anymore since that was my last job and there were one of my clients.

But i reckon that due to better benefits and pay and title, thats why they jump ship.

Nah, not as high as you may think. QA engineer over there around 4k++. The project engineers salary by my estimate is around 5k.

When i was at my old job, they approached me to be their resident QA engineer for around 4k++, but i turned them down since i already had my WI cert and was quitting my job to do contract work.

Mind elaborate  blush.gif ? What makes their resume so good?
*
It depends really, i noticed that alot of indian nationals like to exaggerate their abilities and experience in their resumes. Say they listed a few skills that your company is looking as a potential candidate. Once this guy joins, you later find out he/she doesnt really know much of what he/she has put down in their resume which frustrates the employer.

I have gone through 2 interview with an engineering mnc, the interviewer keey say interesting, but he din offer me the jobs at the end of interview, will I get the job?
*
What do you think when he "didnt offer you a job"?

More like he's wasting your time since he may just be surveying the market for a potential candidate.

Thats crap, they dont even allow you to use a real rifle. And if they did let you, its the old M16A1 model from the 1970's.

At least in the states, in particular houston has some shooting ranges where one can rent weapons for shooting sessions.

I was wondering, is there any visual difference between P1,P2, Q1, S? I have seen a few passes and they look like the same to me.
*
Previously EP and S Pass were different due to the exlcusion of the picture and fingerprint on EP. But now EP and S Pass look similiar, compared the difference between P1 and P2.

WTH, they can webcast this shiat but they cant do the same for channel news asia.

At least i got an e-mail from my previous colleague who somehow or another got hold of a singaporean guys psychiatric report telling mindef why he should be excused from reservist duty. Just because of self esteem issues, this guy can be excuse from serving his reservist, all the while he's laughing his head off since he faked his condition since he doesnt and hasnt served a day of reservist all this time.

More like the frustration of the common person against LKY's comment.

Either that or most of the commenters are the opposition.

Doesnt your company have a panel of approved clinics where you just make an appointment with the clinic for your medical check up?

Looks like no standard company.

maybe is a company that do not usually employ foreign worker.
10 years years back, when i sell myself to the sg employer, i also the first foreigner they employ, not only  have sell myself cheap, i have assure them employing me was hassle free, did my med and my permit myself   doh.gif
*
Even if that company doesnt employ foreign workers, they should have a panel doctor who could assist them when it comes to the mom medical requirements for foreign workers seeking employment in singapore.

Plus the fact that the guy had to pay for his medical check up is just icing on the cake.

going to make a rent arrangement, do I need any document when signing the rental agreement? I only get my E pass approval, not even get my IPA letter.
*
You renting the whole unit or just a room.

It depends, most owners through an agent will require you to sign a tenancy agreement outlining the various provisions which are in favour of the landlord. If its just a verbal agreement, then you have to be careful since theres no black and white to back up your claims.

Added on July 29, 2011, 11:26 amGot this hilarious picture about toilet paper usage procedures, and funny thing about this is the fact that its real.

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/706/tppsmall.jpg

Any lawyers or policy makers care to share why one has to go this far on the usage of the humble toilet paper?

When i first came to singapore, i rented with an older single lady, a divorcee mind you and i quickly found out why she became a divorcee and why she constantly blames her husband for her failed marriage. Plus she's the religious type.

So i too would suggest that the last option is to rent from a single older lady. Gay's i;ve found are very accommodating as a landlord. So long as you tell them your straight as an arrow.
