QUOTE(-Panadol- @ Aug 4 2011, 01:51 PM) I think it's the same with or without kb, it happens to files in both my internal memory and external sdcard. I've tried removing and re-inserting the sdcard, but same issue. When I click on a "non-supported" file, the file manager screen just darkens abit and hangs there without doing anything. You managed to get the pop up window askingyou to choose an app to open the file? Don't know yours.. but mine hang also.. but after that, i remove the kb and open the files.. then the menu came out... then i attach it back to the kb can it is working..

QUOTE(CyberKewl @ Aug 7 2011, 08:43 AM) btw guys i did another round of tests on the battery drain issue that some has been facing, i enabled the mobiledock battery saving mode last night and it was 100% for the tablet and 66% for the dock. when i woke up after 8 hours of sleep, it was 98% for the tablet and 65% for the drain. There's drain there alright but its very minimal on my end. So there you have it - it does drain, but on my end its very very little. Did you enable wifi? I did mine, when wifi on,it sucked alot of juice out of my kb. When wifi disabled, only 1 to 2%. I left it overnight.

Did you guys set the wifi policy/management? Just set turn wifi off when screen off... then you will notice the diff.. at least for me.. I did not suffer any battery drain as most of it is cause by the wifi.. it stilll on even your tablet is in sleep mode.

QUOTE(tyenfei @ Aug 14 2011, 08:18 PM) Charged and unplug my Eee Pad & Dock from power cable this morning 5.30am. Leave it under sleep mode, wifi on. Until 5.20pm, Tablet battery 99%, Dock 74%. Leave it again .. Until 8.21pm, Tablet battery 99%, Dock 63%. I didn't use at all, but wifi is on and it auto check mail when wireless signal available. Biasa la.. u off the wifi then no prob.. you can check the battery there, the wifi consume quite a lot of juice when docked...

QUOTE(Crazy.SoT.Gila @ Oct 7 2011, 03:50 AM) Eh? Is it available now? I'm looking at the Market but still doesn't list the TF as supported/whitelisted. Btw, would like to get recommendation for office suites and remote desktop apps. Polaris not doing good for me, not sure why but Polaris fails to open most of my Excel files. As for remote desktop, I am using SplashTop and TeamViewer right now. I like how SplashTop takes input directly from the tablet, whereas TeamViewer only allows me to move the mouse cursor slowly. However, I find SplashTop less reliable as I get quite a lot of disconnects compared to TeamViewer. Also, any recommendation for note-taking (handwriting and/or keyboard) apps? Any other productivity apps, please recommend! One thing I'm still not used to, coming from the Apple App Store, is the lack of dedicated section for tablets. I find that quite troublesome. Anyone knows if they are going to launch a dedicated tablet section? Oh and, any news on TF2? You go to the skype options there.. Just tick the enable video calling...
