you can get it from their website. just submit your serial number then you can download the usb maker which will download the installer and make usb drive bootable.

you need to select US (not malaysia)

then it can detect your serial number, then you will get few tabs one of it to get the recovery media.

Does any Thinkpad user know how to use / enable the extra symbols in this (i donno what version) Thinkpad's keyboard..?



i bought it 2nd from mudah seller.. i just realised the keyboard was different later..
it hard for me to type some basic symbols: ( ) / \ : " ' ?, etc..
what labelled on the keyboard different with what appears on screen..

this Thinkpad used US English keyboard setting..

the solution might be:
• i can refer (or make sticker) based on standard desktop keyboard, but still some keys are different..
• thinking to change new standard Thinkpad keyboard is not cheap though, i would rather spend on bigger HHD or add SSD..

i just wanna know how to make use / fully utilise the keyboard layout as lebelled..
especially on the red marking area (refer image)..

is there any button / shortcut to use those symbols..?

Google Chrome(37), memory is at 70%(2gb) with 8gb of ram. Win10.

No current driver issues. I am using Lenovo Vantage to update any required drivers.
