Anyone still using x230?...bought refurbish set and done some updating on the hardware - swap ssd and upgrade 16gb...the temperature quite hot while running heavy load up to 70 celcius...any advise on managing the temperature?

how much you pay for the i7 set bro?... interested to get the i7 set but the price gap between i5 and i7 quite huge...I got my set for RM 530 but i7 set will cost me RM 1099

Yurp...bought online... initially, quite sceptical to buy refurbish item like laptop online but have good experience with viaglobal...you can search viaglobal in shopee or lazada...read about the rating and customer feedback if you interested to get item from them

When the first unit arrived, I got a not good condition x230 as there is some crack at screen area...complaint to them and asked for exchange...the pic send the courier slip to me and I post back the unit...upon receiving the defected unit, they send the replacement and that the unit that I use now...buyer no need to pay a cent as the courier charges to send the return unit and a new unit send to the buyer is covered by the company...so far happy with my purchase

Why when order can upgrade to WQHD, I think just few bucks only

I've just place an order for a customized X1 Carbon via their toll-free number and I noticed that the price is much cheaper, for my case by RM6xx over the similar configuration if I ordered via Lenovo online.
As I made payment via CC, I still need to log-in to my user account at Lenovo online for payment.

I was considering between the XPS13 and X1 Carbon, but the X1 current promo for 3-years warranty and free upgrade to 512 SSD made me opted for the X1

yup, driver are fully updated

Installed 4GB extra ram, I think this did the trick for the software lag
For the last 9 months I have been using it pretty heavily, average 10 tabs+ while working, so I'm actually surprised I hit the ceiling, maybe windows update hog more memory now..

wouldn't replace thermal paste void the lenovo warranty? wonder if I can request them to do it lol
