Did anyone face the "plugged in, not charging" issue before? My Thinkpad cannot charge and I did not enable the charging threshold mode.

How you guys think about x1extereme? Thinking between this n x1c.

Now x1e is having promotion but 4k display is not available. FHD good enough?

If you want best portability, get X1C. If you want a thin laptop that can game but with less battery life, then get X1E.
As for screen, personally 13.3" is the biggest screen size I'm willing to go for FHD. If 14" (X1C) or 15.6" (X1E), I would refer something like 1440p (WQHD). 4K just burn battery only. Sadly, I think X1E don't have WQHD option here.

finally, after 1.5 months (thanks to Lenovo billing snafu) of waiting, my X390 (plus RM1 backpack) arrived just now. Sadly, I'm due to travel for work tomorrow, so probably will only set it up on Monday or Tuesday next week.

For now, just checking for physical defects. So far so good. One thing I want to ask. Does Lenovo not include extra TrackPoint nipples anymore? I'm the type that usually switches to the "soft-rim" nipple, but just now when I checked my packaging I couldn't find it.  Last time we always get one small packet with 2 extra nipples. Nowadays no more ah?

just now ask lenovo cs, thinkbook only got 1 ram slot, too bad, and only 8gb preinstalled, i think not worth already, barely enough run windows10

i shocked while seeing that response time figure, whereby desktop LED large screen plus <2ms.  Budget one also just <5ms, nice for movie playing, no ghost image
