very fast, very battery efficient, but TOO MANY BUGS! especially the black screen of death. usually i only get 2-3 times per week, yesterday got 5-6 times PER DAY! CM7 nightlies SUCKS. until they got their shxt together, i'd suggest u stick with original froyo ROM.

anyone using this ROM: O2X FLAIR GB v1??? I'm curious about the flashing baseband part, i'm on CM7 #127 at the moment, do i still need to flash the baseband or just flash the ROM directly? thanks notworthy.gif

I did flashed the 02X FLAIR GB v1. updated the baseband to V20c-EUR-XX-AUG-02-2011 using smartflash. All working great except the GPS (need to install fasterfix), else cannot download contact from exchange. Revert back to CM7.

I would recommend cm7 over other customized roms out there (except mcr and stock rom)
Have been using it for months and very few bugs in my aspect, just a suggestion, feel free to criticize smile.gif
And also, regarding the baseband.
I'm using the 20110622 one which released with v10d update in Malaysia paired with 0622 RIL.
[It's actually a SEA update, so getting a SG stock ROM will get the same baseband and RIL too smile.gif]
Baseband doesn't really boost/reduce anything (including bugs), this is what I heard from @cm_arcee (CM7 LG P990 maintainer)
Some said baseband does matter, especially the call quality, I have no idea about it but this is my two cents smile.gif

actually i'm getting quite good call quality on the CM7, even when i play music with very soft volume the guy on the other end always complain why i'm blasting my music... shocking.gif and vice versa, it's like the call volume is supercharged! and there's non of those crackling sounds usually heard on loud volumes, the voice is crisp and clear, i literally whispered so to not damage my friend's hearing when talking to him on the phone

I'm asking about another ROM for the O2X is because CM7 is giving me headaches on the black screen of death issue, it's getting worst and worst, and every time i'm on phone calls, the phone vibrates during conversations (10-15 seconds once), and it won't stop vibrating until I end the call. And the sound settings crashed every time I want to change the ringtone, need to use the profile to set ring tones. I'll try to wipe and reflash and see whether the problem persist or not

Go download GetRIL from market, it's a freeware from a xda developers.
If it's priced, go to xda and search for it.
I don't count it, but normal usage can last whole day for me.

AP set is available at garage sales, check there out smile.gif
Make sure what is covered in warranty and what's not, make sure the seller us trustable and such, I'm using the first batch lg Optimus 2x in Malaysia, and I am totally no problem with it.

I heard someone mentioned that CM Team website was hacked or something, maybe you can ask around on XDA.
But the changelog still has new changes everyday, just no bot complied it.
