Up to 3 PSPs can connect to the player who is playing MHP3 on the PS3. It doesn't matter whether if you're playing in the same room or via Adhoc Party. Saved files can also be transfered between PSP to PS3 and vice versa.

Also note that to use Adhoc party, your ps3 will have to be connected to your router/modem with wired connection as Adhoc Party will not work with wireless connections. One more important thing is that if your PS3 isn't a japanese PS3 (JP unit not firmware/account) you will not be able to transfer your PSP saved files and configure some PSP Remastered settings, such as using Adhoc Party with MHP3 HD. This is because PS3's firmware 3.70 includes some PSP Remastered functions exclusively for Japanese consoles only at the moment.

Disregard my earlier post about not being able transfer your PSP save data if you're not on a JP console. Apparently, my friend who I asked to check was blur and didn't notice the PSP Save Data section. I couldn't check it myself as I have a JP unit myself and I definitely have those features.

This still does not change the fact that the PSP Remaster settings in Game Settings are still JP units exclusive at the moment. Those settings lets you enable 3D, adjust screen size for PSP Remaster games and turn on Adhoc Party. However, screenshots have shown that when you launch MHP3rd HD, you can choose whether to launch MHP3 HD with Adhoc Party or without so all's good, for the most part.

Got my Extended Edition in the mail today. It comes with the game, bluetooth headset and a drink cooler.

I don't know about you guys but I'm starting to get really annoyed by the game freezing problem when using adhoc mode. It's definitely not my PS3's problem as I have tried it on another console and the problem was still there. The game freezes randomly but adhoc party still works for some reason and I hope this gets fixed soon.

Monster Hunter 3G will be for 3DS according to people in 2ch who bought famitsu early this week. It will come with a slide pad attachment that will be beside the face buttons (ABXY) and will feature most of MH3's features on Wii with new content. Will post scans and more info if I can find it.

Actually, I mentioned Monster Hunter 3 G, not Portable 3 G. MH3 was on Wii and this is the expansion to that but it's for 3DS. Underwater battles are confirmed to be back and the game might require Nintendo's 3DS peripheral add-on which is an additional right circle pad to play. Here're some scans.

Monster Hunter 4 announced for a Nintendo console today. They revamped the gameplay entirely

- Contoured landscape
- Climbing action that includes jumping over high terrain to another terrain
- Jumping ON a monster. Trailer showed the hunter jumping on a Rathalos' back and stabs it several times till it falls
- Tigarex can climb walls

MH3G for 3DS trailer

Monster Hunter 3g/4 has made my purchase of a Japanese 3ds all worth the effort and money.

Not directly related to the Portable series but monsters such as Zinogre, Dobolbelk and Ranglotra from Portable 3rd will appear in MH3G. Also revealed is a white Lagiacrus.

New alternate colors for 3G announced just a while ago. Black zinogre, red dobolbelk and grey jhen mohran that you fight at night.

MH3G Opening Movie

I thought you guys had a full party for 3G. Why only left one person playing? Everyone rage quit after trying out underwater controls? lol

SWATwolf said he was looking for people to play mh3g iirc. I managed to snag his guild card somewhere during Comic Fiesta. Kiraneko just got her 3ds last week so she just started. I'm still trying to reach HR100 to unlock all quests but I have been busy recently to co-op so I had to solo until I have the time. I don't drive so going to 3 2 square is difficult for me alone so I usually tag along with mecharojak and kiraneko.

Hurry up and get to hr8 and we can have a 3g gathering next weekend. I could use some help 100%break and kill crystal jhen as it is impossible atm to do all that solo. It's either repel with with 100% break or minimum breaks but kill with my current equipment.

HR999, just like MH2 and 3. I've seen HR999 hunters on MH3 JP servers 4 months after the game came out.

In mh3, over hr50 = e-pen0r, in 3g, over hr100 = e-pen0r lol as you stop getting new quests after those hr.

I have SSF4 for 3ds. Can gameshare to 2 people and they can multiplayer with each other with ryu only LOL.
