Thanks a lot gaeryn for organizing and helping me clear the training quest (especially happysam and chucky since they didn't want any of the rewards)!! Finally got the +load up headgear. Now to camp in volcano...

clearing weapons in training unlocks barrage piercing which gives +15 loading.. getting at least A and above for all training quests unlocks saint sword piercing which gives +10 fencing

got this crazy plan:
step 1:
get a set of archer gold rathian armor (luck attrib). this can be stuffed with extraloot gems and quick looting.

step 2:
get the naga HBG (black version) thats the one used in the following video.

need 2-3 person to be doing it together though.
the thing is this trick should work on most of the huge monsters if the firing squad is 2-3 person at least. it should produce enough flinch to perma lockdown and since its long range the scream wont reset everyones attack..

macam best je ur idea ni.. btw, naga hbg or narga hbg? My HBG life is kinda over when they nerf the skill autoreload.
Is that the High rank or low rank jhen?
p/s: i remember seeing a video of 4 ppl hunting using the LBG "island of the titan" spamming crag shots in the MGS quest, poor agnaktor, never fight back lol

the hbg is the one made using black narga materials and modified to max.
the jhen in the video is the DLC high rank version, note the reward is 24k. very nice loot, it doesnt even have time to attack on the port side of the ship...

i think to pull this off using lootwhore armor will need 3 person though. but even if cant match his kill time, should be no problem with 2 person, at most have to attack it 3-4 more minute during the port side attack lo.

Boonie what do you play with ahp? if so what world/lobby? because i have a friend that says he rarely sees any lyn members in L world room 8

edit: How come the DLC jhen goes into Final Showdown so fast? is it because its weak? does normal jhen to that too? or only DLC

Not sure about the DLC one, but I have the Quest which is from MHTRi.

The whole quest is 30mins (iirc), 15mins to do as much damage to him before the Final Showdown at 15min mark.
In MHTri, if you did not break the 2 spines and 2 tusks, its a guaranteed repel or worst, fail.


This Sat, I will host the super hard quests - since everyone is easily ranking up to HR6

erm most of the time i just play solo while log on psn. if i see someone i know play online then will log in and join lo. or if they send me msg.

internet quality has a big impact on my playtime. usually adhoc party becomes very smooth only after 12 midnight (for me and quite a few lyn member). but some times its playable at earlier time also.

the jhen went to final showdown that fast is becuase the player dished out some insane dps.

when i play the village jhen quest, i was wearing the max canoneer helm and chest and a charm and for all the 12 kills i never encountered the head-on collision scene (2nd last part) and i thought that was not supposed to happen in solo at first maybe. but then i realised after watching this video that jhen actually skip scenes if ppl do enough damage to it.

last nite after u ragequit to AHP, i linger a little more at the S2 room 50, then babylon (lyn: aeon) came, we play around until 0115 pagi withoutr any problem, lol.
i think MOST of our AHP problem is stemmed from our sucky internet connections..

BTW, i really want to find someone in here willing to help me in the MGS quest, really want that Boss armor...

what is this MGS thingy? i saw a few DLC mission with MGS on it. is that the quest?

i have abit of obsessive compulsive collector syndrom, would help if theres sumthing to collect hehe.

somehow room L2 lobby 8 was empty yesterday when i logged into there around 11:30pm (after WoW lags for 5000ms but it didn't stopped me from bragging, complaining and whining to guildies, thx TMnut for the lag... NOT!!! )
