Depending on what type of monster and what type of bow you're using - you'll need to maximise the shot/elemental damage.

Big monsters like Doberuku are very easy targets for pierce and fire damage.

in my opinion,long range for bow is to attack. while LBG and HBG is to support. whoever play with me before should know what i do if i carry bowgun.

yah, the BGs are supporting the melee player, melee players really hates when their attack are interrupted by shot, so no scattershot there, hehe.

I'm preparing something interesting for us this weekend.

There's going to be Custom Quests, MHTri versions of Alatreon, Dual Alatreon and Super Jho.
(yes, super hard versions of the monster - for those who have played MHTri, you'll know what I mean).

about the adhoc party thingamajig, do i need to connect ps3 to me router using cables instead of using wireless connection, mentioned in few online guides??

i been on and off playing since april and currently trying to find peeps help with carry me sorry lil' a*se to HR4

simply connect your PS3 to the internet, download the adhoc Party app...enter app.

Once you're in the app, you'll be able to see a few "worlds" with about 50 rooms each. There will be indication which room got exactly how many people and how many "houses". Just join the room...and on your PSP, go online hall (usually gathering hall 1) and you'll be able to see everyone. No need to do any settings.

Was hunting with some HR6 for 2 hours since 11pm. Hunted SEVERAL Nargas...not sure why they wanna hunt that when they're already HR6. Including a Tigrex, Hapurubokka, Barioth, and Gigginox. Totally awesome stuff...

Btw, I couldn't download the adhoc Jap version. I can only play teh English version.
