Please don't be tricked into buying AP set with 18 months warranty:

DirectD AP warranty - 18 months warranty (sounds great), but 3 months warranty applies to LCD and accessories (they won't tell u)

Original Samsung SME warranty - 12 months warranty for transceiver and LCD, and 6 months warranty applies to accessories

when u ask them why they haven't told u before u bought the phone or why LCD warranty is limited to 3 months, they will tell u nonsense like "don't be so pessimistic to think that your phone will be faulty before u buy it, LCD problems always surface within the first 3 months, etc"...

obviously don't count on getting your money back if you only realise this after you have exited their front door

Alovelyday, we never trick our customer as all our AP customer will get the details in the warranty card provided.
of course it's been a standard that no one mentions the break down or details of the warranty when advertised the product. i wont call it as a trick, but more to shorten and minimize the content.

basically our AP warranty gives you longer coverage for the transceiver (hardware and software) but shorter for lcd and accessories. you gain some, and loose some. Definitely the price is cheaper than ori. not too bad rite..

the problem is when i asked your staff face to face about the difference compared with the original warranty and all he said was 18 months warranty, and nothing about the 3 months LCD warranty.

and then the AP warranty card (showing the 3 months warranty) was given after my credit card has been swipped.

I think its important that everyone here makes an informed decision that the LCD warranty is only 3 months when they decide to buy DirectD AP set
