I just contacted with AMZ UK on my dented PAUL STEELBOOK.

I requested AMZ UK to replace me my steelbook cover only as my disc works well, and their initial response to me was to refund me a discount 15%, that is RM10.

I was very let down. I bought over 200 discs from AMZ UK & never complained before, seems like they never appreciated the past record. Actually PAUL is my 3rd dented steelbook from AMZ UK, my previous 2 steelbook - GREEN ZONE & WOLFMAN both dented, WOLFMAN steelbook even cannot be closed.

I am interested in 4 more steelbook from AMZ UK, - AKIRA, HANNA, FAST 5 & SCAREFACE, so i send an email to highlight thir weekness & i got nil response from them.

No leh.

I once bought a Region-Locked title from Amazon UK as well.

What I did was first to email their CS Dept. They agree to give me full refund, but I have to go through the hassle of returning the Blu-ray disc to them, following their instructions stated on their website.

Whether its worth the hassle or not will depend on the total value of the titles you want to refund. ;-)

if really no choice, just do what ANDREW suggest - sell it or keep it for future when MULTI-ZONE player available here.

And for you German readers, WHV has apparently confirmed that there is a problem with the German dubbed audio on the German LOTR: EE BD edition - a pitch correction issue that results in the track running too slow. The original English audio is unaffected. Corrected discs will be available starting on 8/1. If you have a copy of that version, you'll be able to send in your receipt to get the corrected discs, or simply wait until after 8/1 to purchase the set at which time the fixed version should be available.

Does the similar issue rises with the US edition?

Sifu... mind to share how did you do that? What equipment is needed?

Do you really think its sufficient to blame KDN just because your items are tampered? They are just doing the job..unless they open the stuff makes perfect reason for us to blame them. If your item suffered damages, should it become Amazon's responsible to make sure it arrives in 1 piece?

I got to know recently , one of our forumer who ordered with Amazon UK and his items never arrived in the 1st place. And his complaint lead to another shipment and the 2nd shipment never arrived as well..could it be possibly KDN held it?
