Hi guys, i'm new here. Recently, i wanted to play PS2 games in my pc. I used PCSX2 and want to play Gran Turismo 4 (it's a high demand game sweat.gif ) the ideal cpu speed for that game to run smoothly is around 3.5-4.0 GHz

1) Can i overclock my CPU to 4.0GHz using bios without changing my stock CPU coolant? is it stable?

2) If I have to change my CPU coolant, what is a better one?

(btw my rig spec is at my sig if i got to improve others please let me know)

Thanx in advance rclxms.gif

u can discuss it HERE instead of creatin a new thread bro. smile.gif

to answer ya q:

1. most likely no as u gonna get high temp during load which something not stock good is good at. get a decent 3rd party cooler to tame d heat. if budget limited, go for cm hyper 212+, if not, u can get whatever high end cooler suit ya taste. wink.gif

2. no comment as i'm a wc noob. tongue.gif

one more, if i want to OC my CPU, do i have to upgrade other components as well, besides my CPU coolant fan? for example, RAM?
