QUOTE(Matrix @ Jul 5 2011, 07:33 AM) Save the money for the tint. Most tint already block 99% UV even cheap one, it's only the IRR which is different. The Inspira tint is good enough. Security tint somemore. No need to do another layer. As for the lock, you may want to consider the locktech/locktact pedal lock...much more convenient than conventional locks. If got money, do further soundproofing and autofoaming....then show us the result in TT sessions....hehe. Added on July 5, 2011, 7:36 amThis is 2.0cc car, so dun expect good fc lor. Avg 9km/l for city drive, and 13km/l-14km/l is achievable on highway. Honda City, what a joke....just a bit better than a Myvi....small car, no power, cramp leg rooms. I dun wan. + over price for 1.5cc engine. At my place (Miri) almost 91k This post has been edited by shahie: Jul 5 2011, 09:04 AM

All, Just discover the hidden feature on our inspira. i just get my levelling switch & plug into that "ready" scoket on our dashboard. It's hard to believe that our stock inspira headlight is come with moto inside. Now i can move my light beam up & down via that switch remotely on 4 variable steps. you all have to try... that switch also illuminate when you switch on your headlight / position light i just upload the video for the testing. you can see the light beam move up/down while i'm playing that switch. all is just plug and play. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4R3lJOoN5ns

QUOTE(XCInspire @ Jul 6 2011, 12:27 AM) Ya Shahie, darn cool... what is ur chassis no? How u came to know of this switch?? Video of the headlamp from the front pls... Btw, ur car windows are Mitsu or just the showroom unit? Added on July 6, 2011, 12:29 amWhat I showed you under the hood wasn't blink blink mods... why u never get poisoned? Btw, headlamp mod is the biggest blink blink mod... All, my chasis is 3036, only front & rear windscreen with mitsu logo (both side still with proton logo)... YES,,, mine is still STOCK HEADLAMPS. If you want to reconfirm yours, you may open up your driver side dash ( where you have 3 vacant switch area) and i'm sure, the harness connector for that levelling switch is sitting on one of your vacant switch, probably at middle. Let's try.... This is consider uncomplete installation by proton. I repeat, i just plug my new levelling switch, connect the harness and that all... Please try... It's worth. my stock headlamp URL=http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/405/picture815t.jpg/] [/URL] This post has been edited by shahie: Jul 6 2011, 05:38 AM

QUOTE(Matrix @ Jul 6 2011, 09:00 AM) Not really. I find the headlamp actually too low for my liking, especially on highway driving...it could do a bit better by having a higher angle so i can get a longer viewing distance at night. Compared to my Savvy, the Savvy lights are actually higher and has further viewing distance. Yes, i can probab;ly ask the SC to adjust it for me but If got switch like this to adjust, it's very useful!!! (not to mentioned can lanci more to jeles Dugong/City driving colleagues...haha). Added on July 6, 2011, 9:01 amThis seems like standard part, i think can buy from EON also. Anyone wants to go check it out? Maybe can buy same price or cheaper? Added on July 6, 2011, 9:05 amHow to take out that plastic thing covering the hole? I check this morning, bulat-bulat only....i sucked at DIY cars. Added on July 6, 2011, 9:07 amErr, what happened to ur lights in the first place? You adjust it higher than it got problem? Added on July 6, 2011, 9:10 amYeah Shahie, can show video to usof headlamp moving up and down? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4R3lJOoN5nsEon did not sales that switch. Its design for GTS and evo 8 to evo x But our inspira wiring is purely similar to lancer 2009 onwards where most of some part is ready for plug n play including that light levelling feature. It's good to have default light beam higher than normal coz from steps 1 to 4 on that levelling switch, you may lower it down. 4 will be your lowest beam. 0 is your default levelling beam. QUOTE(XCInspire @ Jul 6 2011, 10:19 AM) You parked so near the railings.. tak takut scratch ah? Btw the swing moving my itself quite scary.. hahaha... How you gotta know of this switch and took the risk to buy it? Lancer has this switch? On that video, i straight move the switch from 0 to 4, so that you can notice the beam movement. Actually you got 4 steps of movement. Yes, some lancer GTS has that switch. Evo sure have it. My first plan is just to buy that switch so that in future easy for me to upgrade to evo x projector headlamp. This post has been edited by shahie: Jul 6 2011, 10:31 AM

Try ask standard car spare parts. Part no: MR190995 or 82046 switch. Added on July 6, 2011, 11:37 amQUOTE(Matrix @ Jul 6 2011, 09:00 AM) Not really. Hi matrix, you may just open the 2 screw without open that plastic plugin screw but you only can lower it down that dashboard cover under your steering. As long as you can plug in your new levelling switch is ok. See this: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/580/p...interior16.jpg/This post has been edited by shahie: Jul 6 2011, 11:37 AM

QUOTE(Matrix @ Jul 6 2011, 01:49 PM) That is one mod too far, i will not cut open my car just for a sunroof...Malaysia weather not suitable for sunroof or open top cars....nothing but smoke in city, hot sun, terrible UV, dust etc,....if in Europe can lar, nice cool countryside weather....Malaysia? No thanks. Added on July 6, 2011, 1:59 pmI called Glenmarie EON, to find the MR 190995 part no...the guy said "Nombor tak boleh masuk". Try this part no (stated on my plastic during packaging), 8614A038. I don't think proton have since they never have this switch on their previous model. Better ask mitsu parts or standard spare parts.

QUOTE(Pip_X @ Jul 7 2011, 01:52 PM) Great! I dont have to online buy! Thanks! I kasi u 1 Tenga when we meet! Btw, if u one shot buy so much, becareful of tax! remember the tax for spare parts is within 10-25%. Like mine only order for 1 unit, nasib boleh lepas. Why not try to check at voxmotorsport or rainbowmotorsport or mitsu part dealer ? Now they have ASX model, sure can get there. Just give them a part number. Added on July 7, 2011, 3:54 pmQUOTE(vivawish @ Jul 7 2011, 11:35 AM) Bro, are you guys discussing on the head light leveling switch? Do you guys confirm that our head light is equipped with the motor mechanism to control the light position.........i'm wandering............ Again, the youtube video that you see is my 2.0 inspira, chasis 3036. Everything is still in original including headlamp. No mod or what. I'm not in a dream, otherwise you can't see that video...LoL maybe hard to believe but it is REAL. All of us using the same headlamp ma... Nothing special with mine. So, i guess, it should be working as mine. This post has been edited by shahie: Jul 7 2011, 03:54 PM

QUOTE(Daniel520 @ Jul 16 2011, 08:31 PM) Just now I went to start my Inspira's engine, after the engine temperature warm up. I turned the Steering right without changing gear to D means my gear is placed at P. The RPM Metre went up and down, I thought it was just the engine but I turned my steering couple of times the RPM metre went up when I turned the steering. Than I put the gear in D and test the same thing the RPM Metre went up and down again ... can someone explain why??? It's normal for hydraulic power steering.

QUOTE(ckk125 @ Jul 20 2011, 12:55 AM) so, see if i understand it correctly, regardless of whatever height the headlights are set, when plug in the switch, it will ignore the current height and follow the factory settings? in other words, the 0 level is a fixed height and has no relevance to the pre-switch height? thanks For me, i set the switch to "0", go to SC, ask them to lift up the beam manually. so now become my "0" is the highest & "2" is my default level. at least now, i can step up & down by 2 steps.
