Haha....Ok let me answer your question....

Q. Are there any demand for second hand koreans in reality?
A. For sure lar (at least 1 unit have been transacted, pls read 1446 post, i dun want repeat here. smile.gif )

Q. Will they sustain the same value if being traded to dealers?
A. let me ask back, will Toyota Altis sustain the same value if being traded to dealers? Please answer me  biggrin.gif
Bear in mind, Kia forte is the top sell model in C-segment car now where beat the toyota altis. IF Altis can enjoy depreciation 7-8%, why not for Kia Forte.

Well said.....

And for me myself, i'll never gonna be a slave to resale value....

Ask those who are using Merc or Beemer or even Audi.... Super bad resale value...

I'm buying a Fiesta... f*** resale value.... haha laugh.gif

are you sure merc and beemer have bad resale value? yeah, when you sell it you might suffer depreciation in a big number but do remember the % is based on the total value of the car. 10% of a civic is 13k, whereas for a beemer would be roughly 24k.
*
Yeah i know.... But nowadays Beemer e36 price under 20k.... around the same as a proton of the same age that cost a lot cheaper....

Heck even Civic EJ has better resale value...

But for me when time comes, if i can afford, i'll just buy an Audi or Merc that i like.... Resale value.... haiz... don't care...

Like that in my life i can only use dugong... sad.gif

you are taking cars beyond or about 20 years as comparison  sweat.gif

a new E90 wouldn't suffer much, probably 10-15% a year, more on the first. i sold off my dad's '99 SLK which was passed down to me for a round 110k two years ago.

as for audi, i have no experience in selling em, since my current ride is my first 'outcast' german lol.
*
Yeah... i lazy to do the math...

Kinda funny....haha... outcast german....

FOr me, what's good is worth it to be considered, provided i can afford it la...haha

Camry 2.5 6 speed auto la.

Specs by specs, Mondeo pawns Camry easily...

But becoz of the brand, which is Ford that's not popular...

Mondeo's DCT is superior than Camry's Torque converter auto....

No need to compare the power, Safety, handling....

It's just a better car....

Lol.... Honda creates Variable Valve Timing way earlier than Toyota.... and it's superior than Toyota's VVTL-i.....

i-Vtec is similar with VVT-i.....

Choosing SOHC engine configurations is a wise choice for small engines, especially engines that are coupled with Automatic transmission....

SOHC engine deals better in low RPM's compared to DOHC, which suits the enviroment of most of these small cars will spend their life's in... the city.... so it's a wise choice that Honda made....

Though i personally dislike SOHC coz i like to travel a lot and drive fast....

Modern car engines are now geared towards fuel efficiency rather than performance. So really aside from car features, NA engine from brand A is unlikely to differ too much from brand B or brand C. Whatever difference is going to lie in the way difference manufacturers tune their engines and their cars.

Those days of a high revving VTEC engine in a non performance based saloon? Long gone~~~

Yeah some what quite sad....

This is one of the reason why in Europe, VSC is a must.... Don't neglect ur safety.... Imagine the severity if the road is wet.....

Split-second decision.... VSC do help save ur life.... Those Euro NCAP test seems harmless... check this out...

This is without VSC....

VW Touran you press a button, then you can press up or down until you have reached the desired speed. In 1 km/h increments. Not sure if there is a way to take the current speed. Great to make minor adjustments, but if you want to speed up from 50 to 100... enjoy clicking.

If it is really a very comfortable ride that you are after, there is no way you can get past the Citroen C5 and C6. Unless you are going for Rolls Royce or Maybach, or maybe Audi A8 and Mercedes S class (only with the optional and pricey air suspension).
*
Yup, quite useful.... Kia Sorento got this.... Just flick the knob and the speed will increase a bit...
If u want say move from 100 km/h to 140 km/h, just hold it and it will accelerate until u release the knob (till u reach ur desired speed, u stop)....

About Citroen, gotta agree.... Form the reviews, yeah it's suspension is hard to beat...
Heck Citroen's is famous for it's suspension...

Hopefully Naza can revive Citroen..... laugh.gif

Malaysia got rainy season, the road will get wet most of the time. I guess VSC is really necesary in Malaysia.  sweat.gif

EURO NCAP list VSC is one of the main criteria on the safety rating, so is quite important feature.

Speaking of the wet road, i had twice going through a pool of water on the road unprepared, pressing brake when reached and the car lose control, skid to the side of the road (one time nearly swerve and bang the car on my side), luckily after going through the water, i manage to regain control of the car (i had to turn the steering on different direction very fast). So to me, VSC must installed to the car to increase the driver & passenger safety on the road.  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
True.... my father skidded once in his previous car, while cruising aroun 70-80 km/h.... Slow speed...

No point denying.... VSC is a must....

Can check at utube, lotsa use of VSC in real life.... Those Euro NCAP test may seem 'harmless'.... Imagine what will happen to the car, if other drivers did not brake ?

VSC would prevent this, sort of countersteering the car.....

Yes, VSC is a must.... Hope we all will be wise and choose cars that are equipped with latest safety specs....

Summore big cars, the inertia is higher.... once u loose control, the momentum is higher and harder to control... icon_rolleyes.gif laugh.gif
