Yeah, that's sort of what I figured. I've tried the Crybaby before, but didn't like it. Sweep range too limited, not enough bite. Does anyone know anything about the Jacques Trinity Wah or the RMC Wah series? I've heard good things about them.

Thanks for the tips, guys. Blacktrix is right - the Dunlop Wah I tried was the GCB-95, the cheap one. No wonder I was disappointed. Now, I don't suppose there's a KL dealer around that has a whole selection that I could try...?

Anyone tried the Boss V-Wah before? It's got like six different wah sounds and a seperate overdrive control. Sounds too good to be true, so I'm sceptical. Plus, Boss have a history of making as many poor pedals as they do good ones.

QUOTE(ANGELING @ Mar 24 2006, 08:58 PM) really confusing now...... what should i get? Boss MD-2 and MT-2 demo sound almost the same....MT-2 just slightly heavier than md-2...any opinion from u all for both pedal? can provide the market price as well? Thanks... I don't know about the prices, but I say that its impossible to get a nice distortion out of the MD-2 and that the MT-2 is not flexible and a little artificial, but sounds pretty good. Of course, it's been months since I've tried either, and I was very noobish when I did... My recommendation, though - get and amp with decent distortion, and crank it with a booster. (I just checked your rig. Doesn't the Cube 30 have decent distortion already?)

You could. Of course, you would need to turn your volume control up slightly so you're still loud enough. Just use your ears, play with the controls, find something you like and stick with it.
