QUOTE(NZX @ Mar 25 2006, 01:39 AM) susah to turn on and off the distortion from the amp i guess. got pedal easy...step...step..step.... noooo......the distortion on the amp not too powerful as i ask my friend(6 years player) to test it out....if i buy the pedal only for more convenience....there's nothing but wasting for me as i not gig....

btw....which overdrive pedal is better btw the digitech bad monkey and boss's distortion pedal?
i ask my teacher to let me test out the bad monkey today....unfortunately a 'sold' tag there and no more stock....
after listen to the demo sound..personally felt that the vad monkay would be better...

QUOTE(led_zep_freak @ Mar 25 2006, 05:54 PM) When you're setting the gain on your amp, the best to tip to keep in mind is that "you always need less gain than you think you need,". Go easy with the gain and if you think you're lacking distortion, whack your strings harder, you'ill be surprised how musical your guitar and amp could sound. hmm...u mean that..lets say...normally i love to use gain at 8....if i go for gig on the stage...i'm not suppose to use such high gain...should be around 6?
