I must say a very impressive achievement by the Overcome team on Icarus 3.0

I have been staying away from ver 2.0 and 2 RC1 as it was just too buggy. I have been using  1.6.4 which is an excellent rom, with virtually no bugs

Have been on Icarus 3.0 for the past 6 hours

Being lazy i just restore everything thro titanium bsackup all my apps which were backup on 1.6.4. Very efficient restore with no force closures. This is something unseen of in previous version of 2.0 - then I need to delete, clear data and reinstall some problematic apps

I have never tried Hermes but i find no browser lag at all in this version 3.0 . Most important the old issues of cursor inaccuracy n jumping off screen, display view disappear while typing when posting and replying in lowyat forums was completely solved. This was the killer point when using 2.0 and 2RCi - I gaveup posting/replying at LY forums when on it. Such issues were also in 1.6.4 but manageable. This problem is now solve in ver 3.0 - I have been posting/replying LY forums for the past few hours on my Tab ; must say the keyboard is close to perfect on default browser, Dolphin HD and Opera

My immediate impression is  very good vs previous 2.0RC1. My congrats to you guys for getting it done so well

Have laso tested most of my commonly used apps - no issues at all ; not even one force closure

For upgraders , do flash the stock GB v4 than only flash the Icarus zip through recovery. Your internal SD card contents will be wiped clean - so backup all important stuffs first. I selected JPZ modem - working fine

Bought the card at Low Yat one of the booths. Apacer 16GB. Together with the SGT. They loaded some stuff on it. But I cannot see it on the PC. havent yet checked it on the SGT itself.

Reflash it with JPZ modem. The US based tabs often problematic working here

Which one bro?..got 2 links @xda...I tested ady n only problem with camcorder /tethering n camera fc...others than that working fine....I like HD videoing on tab so I revert back to kratos with other kernel..

here i give my step what i do on my tab...n 4 ur info after i done this my tab really responsive n ezy can get 2000+ quadrant n very2 stable without reboot..

-from kratos u flash mui from HERE ..latest version is 1.9.9...
-then u flash OVERCOME 3.3.1 kernel thru odin..switch off then go to OR..
-flash overcome kratos wipe version ..reboot to OR
-then flash KRATOS STEEL BLUE complete with tweak patch..wipe cache n reboot..

walla!!...now u can enjoy ur tab ...
if u like to OC n UC more than 1.2Mhz u can try KOXUDAXI kernel . can flash thru OR then reboot..anyway bluetooth not working on koxudaxi kernel..but then it is stable even OC n UC @1.4Mhz..
