You got to browse around xda-dev to know how to use Odin to update or downgrade your Tab firmware/rom

KIES seems hopeless...at least on my PC it is...the only thing it is good at is backing up contacts...other than that...nothing much...

I use Odin to flash and download firmwares at samfirmware.com for the latest or the previous versions...sometimes I even flash to European or American firmwares just for the lulz...

No more slider to unlock...just plain lockscreen....

But the problem is always restarts...it most common happen when u are connecting to the charger or the USB...Leave it idling, it will restart like 5-6 times per half an hour.... shocking.gif

Just install the correct region ROM such as Asian DXJPE back to your tab and you are good to go...Dun flash Stock Safe to send for repairs at Samsung Service Centers

Honeycomb yes, ICS no....But with Honeycomb rom last time I tried a tons of stuffs dont work...

1. While update? why not backup first Before update?

2. Common error, clear cache, restart your tab and try installing once again.

3. If KIES detect a new firmware for your device (i.e urs on FROYO) it will notify you that a newer update is available for your tab. But if your tab is from lets say Europe and its FROYO, poking it to KIES while you are in Malaysia will not popup any sort of notification...

Wifi n Bluetooh doesnt drain much as 3G....have you checked with the 3G settings...Probably the game game has been downloading ads to display...

U can plug your tab to the PC and run KIES....see if it detects you ol-Froyo tab and advices you to upgrade... tongue.gif

If not, you can manually update via ODIN, which IMO is better because you know what rom from which version from which region you downloaded....

Difference?? Graphically a little...under the bonet?? Not that I feel anything, but there are probably some fresh codes that help solve some problems here and there...

there was 2.3 and then 2.3.3 and then 2.3.5.....i cant recall 2.3.4 but probably there are available 2.3.4 roms to download...

Nahhh...i aint worry one bit....

As long as I can surf, FB, Twit and check emails on GB, its still something is usable...

Since its near to get SGT Plus or 7.7, you might as well wait till launch day and pay premium...if u want to pay premium now, get the Galaxy Note... thumbup.gif
