Samsung KIES has new updates. Seems like we can sync via wifi. Is this a new feature?

U can charge it by turning off ur tab.

my home button actiavtes the clock instead of bringing me back to the home desktop. Normally I only see this clock when i dock my tab.
its annoying. Anyone can help? Thanks

Hye SGT owner! Anyone of u hv tried BOCA ROM 2.3.4? I just got my SGT with gingerbreed 2.3.3 DXJPE I suppose. But the performance is way of slow than my SGS running on darky 10.2. I kno darky rom running on 2.3.4. But a quick check at samfirmware for SGT, theres no update for 2.3.4 for SGT. Really appreciated it if u all sifus can clear my doubt

im on boca rom 2.3.4............ and yes for now Tab no update to 2.3.4... boca base on aosp from cm7... thats why its on 2.3.4... but officially no update for tab to the latest gingerbread....

officially gb tab update for our region is dxjpe 2.3.3

guys just to share with those user that still using samsung kies software...there is a new update release today :

hmnmnm...is it 2.3.5?

I use Quickpic by alensq.com ... its by far one of the best Gallery replacement for me. Can hide/ignore/password protect folders. lightning fast as well.

Looks like new DXJPI firmware with DXJPE modem. Not even listed on samfirmware site yet. Probably 2.3.3 or 2.3.4 but I do hope for 2.3.5

no luck for me today.... kies sais my tab need to charge first.... sien..... can only test on monday as link to my company pc.. any1 already run this update? mind to share here?

Hi all,

I just got the tab ( 2nd hand) failed to upgrade firmware 2.3 via Kies many times. Just went to Samsung service center in PJ and in less than 1 hour they upgraded it to 2.3.

Anyway it works well on wifi, but when i insert my Digi Bband Sim, the mobile network doesnt seem to connect. All the settings look alright. What else can be wrong? Can see full bar service and digi appears on home screen yet i can't surf.

Check your APN setting ; if you are using the data only plan - change it to 3gdgnet ; default is diginet

Ya,apn setting.
Yesterday my pren buy new tab n register digi broadband.
He ask me to see his tab why cannot surt tenet.
No wonder la cannot connect to internet because No apn setting on his tab. So terok why saleman at digi center not set it.the saleman said can use n surf tenet about 1 hour.huh.
nasib baik he ask me to see his tab.if not,sampai berjanggut tunggu to surf tenet.hahahah.

Good to hear thers somebody running on BOCA ROM. How abt the performance and battery life. Isit blazing fast?
