I just found out that I was unable to charge my TAB using my other USB charger ( non Samsung) and through the external Yoobao battery pack. I suspect it was due to the official Gingerbread JPE version
So I reinstall back Overcome 1.6.4 - problem settled

Recovery : volup + power
Download: vol down + power

Check your APN setting ; if you are using the data only plan - change it to 3gdgnet ; default is diginet

SWitch it off - press power button down hard several secs. Than go to download mode ( vol down+power) and flash again

Flash dbdata.tar as PDA (NO repartition) : Can you please provide a link for this ? What is the purpose of flashing this file?

Can receive sms but cannot sent for a broadband simcard

If you ask me, I drop Maxis 5 years ago, and Celcom few month ago. Now all my lines ( including my family) all on DIGI - cheap and superb coverage. Previously, Digi EDGE download speeds even better than Celcom 3G ; now with 3G available at my place is even better - reason why now I drop Celcom after 10 years
No regrets - with a smartplan RM 68 ( 3GB) - my phone bill rarely hit RM80. On Celcom - same data limit - I need pay RM 98 + compulsory RM 50 ( for calls,sms )

If you are at KL - consider YES ; get the dongle - for RM30/month - superb and very fast : 3 to 8 times faster than the fastest 3G you can have. When I am in KL - i always bring my YES huddle along. Even at my place with weaker signals - i can get download speeds up to 3X faster than the fastest 3G of Celcom/Digi

Of course ; I used DNA class 10 32 GB and sometimes Kingston class 10 32 GB on it

DNA is better and much cheaper

Pray your motherboard not affected. Actually will just take 1 hour but the tech says he need to check motherboard as extra measure

There are complains all over the world incluing at least 5-6 users here about sudden battry degradation. In all cases the battery was replaced foc.Apparently there ar some bad batches of the battery.

1. Flash yourself
2. Or sent in service center to do it - get it back within an hour

USA difficult too incompatible
Europe any can eg jme, jmk,jmi, or try latest jpe or jpi

Try this if Daniel suggestion cannot work
You can revive your Tab but not using your previous rom. Your Tab is still in downloadable mode
Press power switch to reboot it to exactly the condition you have shown. Connect Tab to PC and launch Odin

Refer page 1 on roms section post#5 Upgrading firmware and roms: use odin and reflash with Rotohammer JME , After successful boot, patch bootloader and flash the rom you wish. All links in post#5
And remember NEVER disconnect cable - why did you do it ?? Be patient, depending on what rom you flash, it an take up to 10-15 minutes for successful reboot after flash. Don't be too worried if you see screen stuck on galaxy logo

You cannot use SOC or Z4root for Gingerbread - these only for Froyo roms
