Probably you can check the shop in Klang. it is far for KL fellows but eat BKT if you are here I was told they have many units when I bought mine.

Anyone check their phones regarding the yellowish screen and PINK dots when taking pictures?

I see, because im planning to buy this coming thursday, so your saying you are going to wait for a fix? you dun want to return ur unit for replacement?

Yes I do check. I was at the shop and before paying I told them I wanna check. So the guy (1U SEP) was nice enough to help me check and show me until I am happy. I actually ask him test twice lol. That time was busy but he really spend time to help me so very good service 

Pink dot for camera yes I have it. Just update the firmware for the camera and it is fixed.

I see, well ive checked some forums and it seems that the fix for that is only software update, so i guess i dun have to worry.

Anyway i really need help since this would be my 1st smartphone, how do you identify an AP set and the original one?

I was poisoned by the looks and build of this new case at first sight.

8% battery left after 2 days of usage
wifi/3g always on
facebook/twitter/foursquare/whatsapp for few minutes every few hours
gmail push
few calls and sms
youtube for few MV
access market and updating

overall just average usage..

CMW backsup and restore fully your phone rom/data/apps/settings as it was last backup. CWM will restore your phone if it crashes and cannot be reboot back. Titanium Backup only backup your apps and associated data - it does not backup your rom. Titanium can only function in a working phone not a dead phone

day by day, it become slower and slower.. become more and more choppy.. can see more checkerboard on web browser, and choppy when i zoom in and out. and few times encounter forced close!!

the fon is quite empty. only angry bird installed.. some pics.. NO MP3, NO VIDEO downloaded inside.. still got very spacious memory (with +8gb memory card).. but why it becoming slower and slower?? only SMSs become accumulated inside.. i mean, ITS A DUO-CORE!  its not even better than a single core iphone 4 in term of smoothness.

do android phone always needed to be rooted and installed custom ROM to run better? sighh.... will do hard reset later.. hope its just some bugs.

i 'd like to get an android phone (1st timer) and do not wish to go on data plan....and use existing plan

however, some one told me that i need to go on a data plan to send/receive SMS - so a bit puzzle.

but i believe and after reading this forum....i can just place my current sim and current package into new android phone and i can can send/receive SMS and make calls WITHOUT a data plan
