cougar ... what model r u using ??? or whats ur processor's code ??? T????

if ur processor has a 667mhz FSB ... then u should get a 667mhz ram to go with it right ??? no point going for something backdated ...
anyway ... always get it in a pair to fully utilise dual channel ...

using A100-2212, processor is T5200.
but i saw some forumer said tat the mobo is actually support up to 667Mhz ram so i juz go for it.
not sure whether is it affect the FSB as well.
using 2x1GB kingston 667Mhz ram, think should b running in dual channel mode biggrin.gif

Toshiba lappies work with a lot of memory brands. I have installed Apacer, Kingston, Hynix and Samsung for customers.

Works like a charm but when installing RAM modules of different speed, you need to put the slower memory in the primary slot.

can install xp but the drivers r a bit hard to find ... did for curtomers b4 and the only driver that couldnt install was the function button keys ...
dont go for the M200-A411 first ... new model coming out today ... same specs but with 120GB hard disk ...

were u referring to me?
if it was, then i think i will still stick to vista coz the appearance is much better and personally i dont really playing along with most of the software. most of the time it juz become an entertainment desktop replacement to me. using it to watch moV, listening songs, downloading things like tat. so it dont really affect me much laugh.gif

ur lappy is using 533MHz RAM ... dont worry ... the other RAM slot in located underneath ur keyboard ...
its better for u to use both 667MHz ... since ur going to buy 2 new 512MB RAM right ???
by the way ... sorry for the late reply ... was cleaning my house yesterday ... got no time to online ...
if u dont know how to fix ur RAM u can bring it over to my shop and i can do it for u ... u can learn at the same time too ...

thumbup.gif

by the way ... they postponed the new m200 ... they want to sell out the m200 - a411 first ...

icon_rolleyes.gif

and vista currently have a lot of updates ... so u guys that r using vista ... remember to activate ur auto update ok ???
stability wise ... got mix reactions ... but i m still using xp ... my friends lappy using vista with frequent updates got no problems ...
its just that vista needs a lot of memory and processing speed so that its slow if compared to xp ...
