I had never owned a laptop before, plan to get one soon. Which model will be recommended for personal use?

Just some basic requirements will do, eg. enable me to online(wireless), watch/burn dvd.... I don't play game like Dota, but will play some games like Poker, Mario... Prefer notebook with webcam attached(but it is not a must). The most vital requirement will be the processor. As I heard somebody told me lousy processor unable me to use the notebook for a long period, say 2-3 hours then gonna turn it off to reduce the heat. I need a notebook which allow me to use it for a longer time.

I am Toshiba A100 user

Dropping by here, i just bought a M200 series (cant remember which model..im now at work) last 2 weeks. with window vista basic inside..
just want to enquire , does toshiba package will give out drivers / vista cd ? or everything is under the rescue cd?

im just thinking bout it..and the best part , the question only pop out in my mind , after i reach home...

Added on March 17, 2008, 11:27 amoh d salesman said that 4gb got limitation coz it will go until 3.50gb then d rest cannot up 2 4gb alr ! n he ask me izzit using d 32bit vista me said yes then he said must use 64bit onli can boost up 2 4gb full ... izzit true?

i just bought 2nd M100 and im very happy with it 

just got few question here..the previous owner hv lost the recovery cd.how to make new one?

and i just realized that when the batery only hv 9% left..beeping sound appear..and even when i put on the AC power beeping keeps appearing..until the battery is 0% and the laptop off itself..is this normal?

A100-2112E user over here... the lappie is 1 year old now.... upgraded to 2GB ram... perfomance not bad in gaming... but sometimes the laptop seems to be very hot... maybe its time to get a laptop cooler =P

wanna ask, thinking of the high-end m200 with the ati graphics card and all..how is the m200 generally? i still find it hard to find any reviews on this model in particular..

Anybody try out by upgrading their toshiba ram to 4GB... feel want to do so =O

btw Eddy, i hv checked my hardisk and found some folders containing setup files such as folder named Intel Proset.temp that contains the setup for intel proset wireless, there are many others folders that contains the setup for other hardware like Toshiba hardware setup...are these files for the recovery disk??

Im deleted from the owner list already? btw i got prob with my lappie few days ago my lappie suddenly when black screen and ive no choice ive to off the main power and when i go in to windows i realize my secondary hard disk went missing  finding solutions at internet but cant find. Anyone can help me?

Reformat ur laptop would be an ideal choice, maybe system file corrupted....
