Or sell the ODAC once you have the Pan Am.

On a serious note, you will need to increase your budget if you want to consider a proper tube amp.

Comfort actually isn't that bad tbh, well for me anyway. the lambskin padding makes it comfortable, makes velour inferior now

If you're referring to the slight after effects, I don't think that sounds like distortion but more like intended by the producer.

I did not say it was a track problem, try listening to other sources of the same music, youtube,etc. You can hear the same thing

Don't expect blizzard to invest a ton load of investment to have proper recording on soundtracks, even their starcraft 2:heart of the swarm has some recording issues to me

Cant really compared as non-LX version has no line out to bypass the amp section. Would be unfair to compare its sound quality if you were to include its amp section.

I believe you can use RCA to RCA from your xonar STX to the bravo ocean

Depends on the tube models, the common like the 12AU7/KT88/etc are available locally from dealers such as Octave Electronics in PJ. If you're planning to go for NOS tubes its best to go online and buy them from ebay, tubedepot, vacuumtubes.net, tubeworld. Sometimes the NIB tubes are cheaper to buy overseas and then have it shipped here.

AFAIK, Malaysia have very few vendors who are selling rectifier tubes and mostly driver/power tubes.

I'm assuming you meant dac/amp combination, if not ALO Audio Pan Am might do the trick for 2 in 1 solution.

For a strictly pure amp only, as Noobandroid mentioned La Figaro is alright, there's a littledot as well but if you're using low impedance headphones only, best to avoid OTL tube amps.

Dac/amp, ALO Audio Pan Am might be your best bet for the time being.

OTL = output transformer-less

Depends on your usage I guess, cause according to Tyll the a200p might be tuned different specifically for beyerdynamic range of products.

Unless you're willing to wait to see if there day and night differences.
