Nwaguys o2 or c421. Most probably o2 self build or get from here will be cheaper.

EHhh whats and O2 ...? rclxub.gif never heard of it

Source PC mostly or maybe sometimes player/phone. But dont care about portability i prefer better sound quality then portability icon_rolleyes.gif

Did you say don't care about portability... so E10 is the answer... E9 is portable. And E10 should sound better that E9.

Hi,

I need recommendation on USB sound card.

This is because if i use my laptop audio port, i can hear my laptop noise (fans) which is hurting my audio experience.

I just need a cheap one. Currently have my eyes on Creative Sound Blaster Play for RM80 but i cant seems to find review for it.

So i need recommendation and suggestion here.

Thanks. biggrin.gif

Hi there... Can anyone help me for this setup... Budget is kinda tight ~
Source PC.
Listening music, editing some*, gaming, movie... all kinda of thing i can do with it actually...
music type : slow--->hard rock-->metal...

Here's my

Headphone choice:
BeyerDynamic DT880/DT990 or Many review saying the bass was not tight enough for rock and the treble was pitching bright? I dont really like high bright treble (that why i change my tube in my Amp for more darker tone)
Audio Technica A900 or
Grado Prestige SR325i ... i dont know but from my reading ppl saying Grado is not that comfort, and i really ned comfort Headphone so that i can used it around 2~4 hours a day...well maybe more..

AMP+DAC Choice
Uber Muzik TinyTube or
Hifiman EF2A or
Little Dot MK2 <-- this one dosnt have DAC right?

Is there any suggestion?

or just take this... BeyerDynamic DT990 250ohm full set + CrossRoads Edge Amp + Custom Made Mini to 2 RCA cable for RM1300

well my budget around 1.5k plus minus.... for both of them headphone + amp....

since this is dac+amp section, i will only answer you on the amp part, for tight budget, those 3 doesn't look like "for a tight budget". anyways.. if your are into those 3 options, u can try EF2A or TinyTube
