fwah! damn lucky! I've lost an old mitchell reel to FV freight train pacu! Whack my oil palm seed bait n made a run with my rod/reel... tat was a classic reel, i think may even be older then me...sad.gif

considered burn already lah like tat... i spoke to one of the attendant's there about it oso, it seems that some rods there are worth thousands of bucks. Sporeans come over with blinking expensive rigs, some kena whacked n rod goes flying in. So i guess the jackpot for FV isn't the fish but some really exotic reels smile.gif

Got this triggerfish at Port Dickson near the beach. Size is slightly bigger than an adult palm.
Look at its 'horn'. I was quite afraid to remove the hooks once i got it as the 'horn' can cause pain so terrible you need to be admitted to the hospital.

Fwah!! good catch, waters in PD must be getting better over the years! Was this off blue lagoon? Where the corals are?

Anyone used inflatables before?
I just got a Sevylor 2 person boat yesterday. Planning to use it once i go to PD but not too far off the shore.

Wah, sounds fun!! with electric motor? good for bulus fishing! I'd recommend tanjung sepat, after the lover's bridge....though, lots of rocks to get out but got big fat bulus there smile.gif

Bought the ajiking atom 2000 series, been using it for a good 6 months. It's a basic cheap reel for freshwater! Doesn't do well in saltwater, as i realise the frame warps! It's not very strong, though it is small (was planning to use it specifically for bulus fishing!). Have upgraded to the Penn Battle 2000 instead!! smile.gif metal body tongue.gif Waiting for next trip to use!

btw... melawati pond where ah? anyone got details, love the rm10 for 4hours plan smile.gif
