Some mud-slinging going on here about Darky. Actually what happened with Darky? I always thought he was one of the famous ROM cook in XDA.

Fair warning here. It's better to use APK Manager to decompile/recompile. Packed APKs that are of unknown origin might be malicious. That's why Google had an option to disable installation from unknown sources.
I read some posts that skype passwords might be compromised, so be careful. |

Example:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...3&postcount=210 QUOTE Anyone care to tell me why (by dumb luck forgetting my user name) the email from inside the application to reset my password goes to a webpage that firefox tries to prevent my from entering and claims is unsafe, and the email from the skype site goes to a completely different page? I recommend changing your password after using this application. |

QUOTE(yuktsi14 @ Jul 4 2011, 07:23 PM) 48 hours on light usage (about 4-5 hours of screen time).16-20 hours on heavy usage (with 6-8 hours of screen time) Edit: Maybe a little less than that. About 38-40 hours for light and 16-18 for heavy. This post has been edited by pikachu01: Jul 4 2011, 07:43 PM |

QUOTE(gmhafiz @ Jul 5 2011, 01:13 PM) Added on July 5, 2011, 1:16 pmBtw, somebody signed up with spideroak using my referral link. I got another 1gb free. Thank you whoever you are! Added on July 5, 2011, 3:55 pm QUOTE(lightning69 @ Jul 5 2011, 03:04 PM) Like I say, its something you will never understand. Why do you think it have a high second hand value? If it is not worth it why are people willing to part the cash to buy it from you? Analogous to buying LV because everybody has one. Added on July 5, 2011, 3:20 pmNow lets open our mind and forget about all the fanboys favoritism here. Here is the scenario... I work offshore and I always bring my Rm90 LG phone as an alarm because there is no line out here. But this trip, I decided to bring along my SGS so that I can listen to my mp3 and play some games. Everytime I bring out my phone, people would ask me...."Is that an iPhone?" or simply "iPhone?" No one ever ask me is that a "Samsung Galaxy?" or simply "Galaxy?" or "Andriod?" Ever wonder why? If you go an ask those school kids what phone the want to have, I can guarantee you that 9 out of 10 would say the iPhone. You won't hear much about Galaxy or android at all. Ever wonder why? What apple did here is create a branding so strong that it has become a household name. You might disagree with me, but look around you and do a reality check. The SGS might be a better phone than the iphone, but in reality it means nothing to the majority of the users. So before you say something like Iphone is definetely not of it, think again. QUOTE(janov @ Jul 5 2011, 04:14 PM) Basically, everyone buys something for their own personal reason. When i buy a phone i look at the hardware specs, i chose SGS because of the screen, i read a lot so i appreciate the SGS Screen Size, plus when i travel i can watch videos either through the phone or via TV OUT (no need to bring a lap top). Most people get an Iphone and rightfully so because Iphone is very easy to use and hardly give any problems. Meanwhile, a kid prostitutes themselves to get a white iphone while another sells one of his kidneys. But you're also right that Apple have good branding and they have done so with very good Marketing (Americans are damn good at it thats why they are good at bullshitting about Weapons Of Mass Destruction). Most people have been brainwashed by the media for a long time. The media through its ads convince people to buy and consume, they psychologically brainwash us into thinking that after we buy a certain Product, we feel good about ourselves and we show this off to our friends to boost our ego. However i feel the feel good only lasts a while before we're back to reality. Its really sad to see there are bags/watches sold nowadays that costs more than a car. People buy it because it gives them status and IMage. This IMage thing is quite sick actually. Meanwhile 35,000 children dies of poverty everyday, half of the population of this planet live on RM10/day. Sorry if this is off topic, just want everyone here to think about all these and be grateful for what we have. Im really sick to hear about people buying something just for image or status. Please dont be influenced by the media. We need to snap out of it and realise what i coming soon : the biggest depression the world has ever seen. What that have been enabling us to buy this and that all this while is nothing but debt debt debt. Money in reality, is nothing but debt. |

Hey gmhafiz,
I'm not sure why SpiderOak's interface is slow using my PC. It's working as it should on my laptop (though I feel it lags a bit) |

QUOTE(gmhafiz @ Jul 5 2011, 08:55 PM) the software? Not sure about sugarsync but all the files and password are encrypted on your machine before they are transmitted to the internet. I didn't know Dropbox doesn't do this, that's why I switched. The encryption process must have used many cpu cycles. I'm using sugarsync too. Don't have a referral from you on that (too bad Ok enough off topic here :S Have you tried their android softwares? Which is better for you? |

Pmed you Sugarsync's referral gmhafiz.
So far Sugarsync works well for me. I now have 5.8 GBs of space (more than Spideroak). Interface is good, sync is ok (They duplicate the files if they can't be merged). Security review is still pending. I heard good things about its security but "Zero knowledge security" is missing. The mobile app is ok too. I'm testing it now on my SGS. Haven't synced yet. Just tried to download a file and it works ok. |
