i think u should do a full clean wipe of your phone including internal and external memory .... but of course, do a backup first for your apps and things u can wan save ..

same here, ditched it since version 5/6 i think due to his arrogant attitude and now anything he says or post i just ignore ...

i'm sort of helping a friend moving to his new place at that time, and i put my phone in the back of my pocket. i just realize it after i got back home, then tengok at the screen, the screen protector kinda a little bit torn up, when i look carefully, got some hairline scratches alreadyy.

edit : is it dangerous to have pirate apps in our phone? i kinda have a few.

i think it should be fine as long as u get it from a trust-able source ..... but i dont use my phone for anything related to "money" so i dont really mind much .. haha

if you do titanium backup, it'll backup apps and its associated data. no kernel is backed up

once you flash a new nightly, kernel will be overwritten but apps will be retained. it is always a good idea to do a backup anyway.

I'm not sure why but i think my touchscreen and touch sensitive buttons are malfunctioning. Sometimes when i wake up my phone trying to unlock it, the touchscreen doesnt respond and the touch sensitive buttons are not lighting up. but after i lock and unlock my phone, everything works fine again. This happens when i use MIUI and cm7...

well, as i recall, cm7 is still in experimental stage right.
why does it not stable yet?
im pretty lazy to read the change log....hehehe.

What kernal do u use in both rom? try use another kernal instead. In stock cm7 kernal, i've never face that issue. Probably another random bug exist in cm7.
Btw, even in the latest miui they uses gb bootloader. Gb bootloader ftw!

both glitchv11 and neo also gave me the same problem... hope its not hardware defect...

if i were to buy buy sgs, how to ensure that it is the latest batch that free from the faulty gps hardware?

I started off with Doc's ROM, then move on to Darkys during Froyo, was good that time, then move on to CM7...speed was good but its too plain, then i move on to MIUI, i liked it at first, but after a while... the batt drain and the iphone feel just not good.

Gone back to Darky 10.2, everything is fine now. Good batt life and stuff... planning to give CM7 another shot ..when something new comes out.. maybe next month.

nasrul.... for tab its juz same like our sgs but there is 2 thing u should know.... for tab if u want to customize it :

1- if u flash it tab internal sd will format clean all of thing what ever inside it

2- there is not so many customize rom for tab not like our sgs

thats why i more flash on my sgs compare to my tab.... love more my sgs more....

however there is something i want to share with u.... tab on froyo more fast and smooth to our sgs.....

I never really tried Galaxy Tab before. But have you tried Ipad2 before? what do you think in terms of responsiveness between this 2? (lags... FCs...)

you will never get an stable cm7 in 2011 maybe 2020? LOL! this is what those developers say. cm7 keep on update everyday to fix problem and port new stuffs. so....

that is not hardware faulty don't worry.your case is due to BLN. that is why cm7 stock rom ditched bln. just change kernel without BLN or keep on lock and unlock your screen.

yes, it consider as family but it is better for you to join the vibrant thread because the rom that we flash maybe not compatible with yours.

check the battery date if it is produced after nov 2010 then it SHOULD BE no problem. there is no 100%thing bro, try your luck.

try a lot of tablet lask weekend, ipad2 quite smooth and i heard that it had the best GPU out there. hahaha. can't really compare both la one is new product came out recently(ipad2) some more with dual-core, another one already one year product. for apps yes ipad2 have more choice than honeycomb tablet, just wait until next year things will change. next android 4.0 will be GB+HC=ice-cream sandwich. that time, all apps will be support by honeycomb.that is the real fight. hahaha.
conclusion: get the tablet that suit you the most ,others' opinion is just for you to refer.

yes. all data and apps will be erased if you flash to new rom using odin.you can backup using titanium backup if you are rooted. if no then use mybackup pro.

using odin3 v1.7 put csc,pda,pgone_xxjvq.tar.md5 to respective row and uncheck d re-patition n wait for flashing tats all?
