flash a stock kernel will not root. only custom kernel will. flash custom kernel is the best ,safe (if you follow the instruction properly) and simply way to get root.

of cause it will cause an issue if you flash it. it is like pump diesel into your petroleum-based automobile.

don't worry we wont bash you want. ask if you really don't know. People who wanna help will help if not just STFU! why bash people? even it is a few post in previous just point out for them let them check themselves.

1. flash to JVH with bootloader(you are on froyo right?)
2. flash darkcore kernel 2.6
3. flash darky v10.1

use titanium backup

apps2sd is from phone to internal sd and not external microsd.why speesmod kernel update so fast?latest t21?

any suggestions for backing up sms? .. i always use mybackup pro but wanted some alternatives ..

yup.i ord try apps2sd.it moved to internal ss not microsd

But fring already support 4 way video chat. Tried it and like it.

Think skype a bit slow on this game.... still it doesn't support 13mil SGS users..

Finally get use to the MIUI, but the external sd card still undetected. It just show : A2SD not available....

Anyway, so many things, themes and style can be modified....nice actually. Let's use this for a while first....see how it goes..

damn talon,semaphore, galaxian kernels are so late to the game. tegrak and zach's talon flavour are the only one available (for jvq)
but tegrak kernel= less feature.
zach kernel: i think more laggy than smooth.
