yea. i found some forumers apply rainX on their phone and tablet to anti fingerprints. so i try lo.

i kena before. but after reboot problem solved. can. normally i will flash wiwipoupou cleaner first then flash kernel.

what i did was pull out my sim card wait for 20 sec then put it back boot up then go into setting select network then wait for 30sec done. don't know work in your case or not. may try.

i didn't apply it on my sgs. i apply on my old K810. scare got chemical effects. haha. after apply i can feel the screen become shinny. but smelly. so far ok. after apply really fingerprintless. but now, got a bit. i think the problem was on the rainX. i am not using original rainX. will try to borrow the original want from my friend and try again.

cm7? haha. still got a lot of roms out there. or can try insanity cm. now days either aosp rom or stock rom. haha. actually i like sweet honey but don't know about the performance? anyone try before?

for me no matter what happen flash back to ezbase 2.0 or 3.0 always the best/safe/easy. but i don't know whether your phone can use or not.

so far ok, only softkey got problem sometimes not functioning. just lock and unlock screen again will solve. so ok lo. never face this on v10 so better try v10. v11s are pre-release.

went to cari forum and jbtalks forum's sgs thread and i can say lowyat have the most professional sifus. at there, they are still teaching them to use superoneclick to root.

yes in both of this rom i did feel lag when playing games. try other rom and use auto killer memory if your phone keep hang when you are playing games. i think it run out of ram space.

which rom are you on now? even on cm7 i can last 15hours with moderate usage.

weird mine can last one and a half day with low usage.try wipe your battery stat when you fully charge. miui should stand longer that cm7. how long our battery max can stand. now don't use ATK, whatsapp, and those battery saving apps to observe about your problem.

so your battery drain fast too? or you are heavy user? if you on data 24hours then cant really help much.

try wipe data, wipe cache wipe dalvik cache. you can backup your apps using "apps monster" if you haven't root your phone.

yes. no need root, flash using odin3 is easy. check first page for detail or my siggy. but you can choose to use kies to update.

if you wanna go to cm7 just wipe data/cache/dalvik cache/system then flash latest nightly.
if you wanna go back to samsung base roms, use odin with 3files+ repartition+pit. done!

MIUI is base on cm7, so basically both are same. MIUI more on interface and cm7 more on performance. you will not get those fancy lockscreen/themes on cm7 but speed. if you want lagless rom go to cm7. but latest v5 really not bad. MIUI launcher that without alphabetical sort order is the only thing i really don't like . how am i going to search for my apps?

add-on: for you question ,

720p recording- no problem on cm7 but i cant compare the quality with samsung roms.
video call - do you mean normal 3G video call? if yes, then the answer is no. only for photoshop roms.
call recording- not sure i never use this function before(if not mistaken don't have this function in cm7). maybe other will confirm with you.

no. from what i understand, first two alphabet is the region of the firmware, for malaysia it is DX. the last 3 alphabet is the version of gingerbread. for example JVK, JVO,JV9.....

testing Neo 11. previous neo kernel was laggy so trying this first.

try wipe data/system/cache. which rom you came from?

you did went back to froyo first right? hmm. go into recovery> mount and storage> format /system, /cache, /data,/datadata and reboot. if still a lot fc then redo those wipe and reflash the rom.

actually neo11 got 2version. with LED and without LED notification.

whic modem you are on? mine with JVQ modem, glitch v10 with low usage can stand max 2days minimum 1.5days,my gf use it to shoot bird ,chop fruit only.

but i think ok want what.my steps , cleaner script > latest nightly> cleaner script > Glitch kernel > tw4 > reboot. so far not problem ,already try a few nightly.

this phone is great if you know how to tweak/flash, if you want a phone that have great out of box experience go for HTC or iphone.
