Again.  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  seriously do you really think you can overthrown a government? raw materials most likely will shoot up due to shortage in MY and yet you were babbling about continuous currency printing in other countries?? Budget 2012 is increasing the borrowing power of the younger gen... What makes you think they would not try to attempt to get their 1st home? I was not as lucky as they were given the chance to get a 100% loan... But if today i were to know of that news, i am definitely going to go for it.

What's happening in Euro and US atm is a fact know by most of us. Does it relate back to the situation here in bolehland? Before replying, sit down, ponder abit and start thinking. Do you really think the Western will just be some sitting ducks and wait for the crisis to happen?  laugh.gif Seriously? Property in MY is dirt CHEAP. you can still easily find condo at 250k - 400k. You call that expensive? It's either you are not cut fit for it because you have not earned enough or your just living in your own world trying to compare the properties here to the ones in GB, US, AU.

{Please, to you rm200K to rm400K is cheap, but not to everyone. No, i dont think it's he that doesnt earn enough but you that believe the property in Malaysia is cheap, which it actually isnt comparing it with the materials used and the labour and also thje quality of the house. If you are so RICH, why not GET OUT OF MALAYSIA, and BUY PROPERTY IN AU or GB ? }

Don't pray lah ppl rugi kau kau. You sure none of your friends, relatives never invest kau kau? If too many ppl rugi kau kau until the financial system couldn't sustain, it will hit you back kau kau also. We are all in the same boat. We must learn & teach each other, not the other way around.

fortunately no smile.gif so, about the financial system hit me or someone related to me, forget it lah....sorry to say Im not that greedy. Greediness will determine which boat a person is actually. There's no we are in the same boat, how can ? Imagine a person buying a decent house for himself, around rm250K, steadily pay off monthly installment, compare with another person, who is very confident to gain profits buy 3 to 4 houses for investment...are they on the same boat ? shocking.gif

during recession the interest rate would be kept low as is the case in the US and the UK now - is this true?
*
yup, because bank also want to do business during recession time. It is impossible to give high rates, ending having a lot of non performing loans...if they give high rate loan, it will become like US. The whole system collapse.

exactly. The right strategy I guess is to keep as much cash and invest it to a more reliable institute such as FD or ASB. When the recession comes, you'll have many cheap bargains to spend your cash on.. smile.gif
*
that is a good idea smile.gif however, during the recession comes, you must PRESS THE PRICE DOWN TO THE MAXIMUM, else dont buy. biasalah kan. the developer already tipu so much profit from buyers, the agenst already created many unbelievable stories to make you believe the price is that high for a property...so now is the time to bargain and push low low. Of course this will really affects the investors only loh, those who buy for own stay...nothing will happen one lah smile.gif
