Hi ALL,

I really need comments from you guys here  icon_question.gif . Which lecturers r recommended in terms of teaching style (esp explanation ability), quality of notes, balance of calculation & theory for:

F4 Pushpa (Sunway) vs Sanjeetha
F5 Low Chin Ann vs Ian Lim
F6 Low Chin Ann vs Wong Paik Wan
F9 Spencer Cheah (FTMS) vs Geetha (Sunway) vs Ian Lim vs Stephy Lim (Bandar)

I would greatly appreciate your help , thanks in advanced  notworthy.gif[/color]

what is ur preference?

u need to be clear in that

btw I can tell about Spencer's F9

althou from different state

his notes usually full of diagrams and will ask u to draw

which gives u the basic ideas of a certain topic

and the detailed explanation inside the notes u'll have to read urself at home

Thanks for ur reply, tzxsean. Tat means he doesn't really teach much theory in cls. For F9, theory is crucial n sometimes quite hard to understand. Were u under his F7 cls as well? Is he better is F7?

I would like to have lecturers who is systematic in teaching, good in explaining n provide readable & complete notes n not overemphasized on calculation (gotta read theory all by ourselves at home).

erm in term of f9 ... sure the diagrams are for the theory part

i've never see ppl can use diagram for calculations laugh.gif

I was in his f7 f9 p5 class ...

as for complete notes

spencer emphasize on key areas

those minor and unimportant he usually just leave it out

for f7 sure heavy calculations... focus on q1-3

those q4 n 5... he will just provide diagrams for the standards

highlight the main points of the standards...

if u really want to have complete note...i think u're better off to read a textbook

one man's meat is another man's poison

so people can recommend according to your requirement

p/s: btw I missed out smtg juz now.... i oso took spencer's p2

Sentral penang do provide term2 classes (means join the class after release of the results). However you will miss the previous syllabus.
*
oh hi there...

i see u again tongue.gif

and technically....sentral dont provide new class after result

u have to join the existing class (which starts Jan)

and missed some part of the syllabus

well..of course u have to pay less as well

p/s: what paper u took last sitting? u can register on jan and study if u dun wan to miss
and hope u pass

I've been doing this since dec 2010

want to know P2.
*
focus heavily on calculations

start of the class will revise a lil bit on f7 .. quite fast thou

usually after results release only will start conso part if im not mistaken...

occasionally only will discuss about optional questions of Section B

standards usually summarised by chart or diagram

and some unpopular and small topics will be left out

for P7. which study text suit? GTG, Kaplan or BPP? I got use GTG for my F8, help me alot. But dunno good for P7 or not. Don't want to rely only on lecturer note. I slow a bit. I have to read extra.

I got see the sample for GTG, oklah, quite detail. Kaplan got glance through, saw from far lah. it is in point form, but BPP never get the chance to see.

anyone take P7 can advice ah? thank you in advance.

to be honest ... i nvr use the textbook

so he won't focus on theory is it? he focus on calculations more is it? P2 theory is more important right? F7 is more on calculation.

Added on December 16, 2011, 4:44 pm
oh ok. thanks. anyone else can suggest?
*
of course he will explain the standards and criteria and apply on calculations

what i mean is very less discussion on how to tackle section B

lol...next time ask more clearly

give u an example

lets say dec 2010

i took f5 f7 f8 ...

then im not sure whether I can pass

however I still go n register class for f9 p1 p2

and pay full payment

then when result out... lets say I fail f5

meaning If i wan to drop out from p2

then sentral will refund me part of the fee of p2

then when I wan to register for f5 again,

I only will have to pay the f5 fee ...with discount ...

and so far I haven fail b4...so I duno how much is the refund and how much is the discount

why dont u contact sentral n ask for it?

and I nvr take f4 ..so I duno how is Ms Hema

P1 is currently teach by Miss Hema. For P papers in Sentral, it cost RM750 (Full course) and RM390(After results out). If you want to see the timetable you can head to sentral's fb. Spencer just posted it there. smile.gif

Added on December 17, 2011, 12:50 amOhya...and Miss Hema is teaching F4 all these while and i guess shes new to P1 teachings. Not sure, just guessing.
