What's 6 Cs? I don't think i learned that before. Time constraint was a big issue today. : (

Really ah? I think my lecturer did not cover these. : ( I wrote all my own points, only got about 4 points, never follow this framework because never heard before. : (

part a of Q3 was ok for me because i studied that but part b of Q3 was bad for me, i anyhow write, about 6 points for that 12 marks, just to make sure i covered half of the marks alloted. I was faced with serious time constraints, i don't know why time just slipped so quickly... : (

Q1a really took too much time. I only managed to finish internal analysis then realised over run. I did my external analysis only after I finished with Q3 which left 10 mins.

I really really hate myself for being so slow.

Now i can only pray for mercy.

For Harmon's matrix, there are 3 processes. So 4 marks for each process. i worte 3 points for each process. Don't care already, 3 out of 4 points good enough. No time left because over killed for Q1a.

Q1a really took too much time.

That cultural web also, i got problem trying to match. So i wrote the heading for each element, then i picked here and there, whacked in, at least the marker should give some sympathy mark for the heading, i hope so.

By the way, that project part b, what is it about? Problems part...is it to write about not having a business case and all? I did not read the case properly because I was too nervous. I roughly scanned thru only. Die...think about it , shivering now.

I would argue that S and W consist of financial analysis+resource audit+Porter's VC while O and T consist of PESTEL and Porter's 5 forces.

Don't be scared. P3 examiner is very kind.....i want to believe it !!! Anyway, i keep convincing myself that i deserved to pass thus i am saying all these.....   

If i failed, i will come here to rant in Feb2012.   

Don't scare yourself lah. You have finished all your papers, no more papers to do in Jan2012 right? Time to enjoy! I still need to do P2 in Jan 2012, cannot think of P3 anymore, until Feb2012.

The ques asks for strategic options - environment, capabilities and stakeholders' expectations.
If you are able to cover these 3 parts, not much to be worried I guess

I used PESTEL, Porter's 5 Forces, Mendelow's matrix btw

I think it might only add values, stating that strategy meeting stakeholders expectations or not. That one for prize winner material lah.

No, u misunderstood me.  I meant the question asked for strategic position.

Strategic position consists of 3 aspects:
1. Environment
2. Strategic capabilities
3. Expectations and purpose

You have to cover all these 3 aspects in your answer.  SWOT analysis itself is not enough.  And not enough for 20 marks
