Guys, which media player is the best for playing 720p mkv files?
I've tried almost everything, even with Dice play, the playback's still choppy and slow.
I'm still on stock firmware 3.2.1, do I have to install rom like Thor and OC to get it playing smoothly?

Already have the plugin installed, most of the mkv files are tv show and bluray rips.
But still the same problem with the video playback

Guys, what really voids the warranty for A500?
My little sister accidentally dropped the A500.
The screen is still ok, no crack whatsoever, the back cover was opened but can still be attached back(with one small tiny component that I have no idea how to insert it back).
Tablet's working great, just the sound from speaker not really good anymore.
Can I still send it back to Acer and have it fixed?

Maybe you could try factory reset from the recovery menu?
Updated to ICS also, haven't encountered any problems yet.

I usually just use Comicrack for comics, I like how it displays the comic info after scraping them
Although using Comicrack for windows might take a while to get used to it

There's free version and paid version.
Only difference is that free version has ads and no wifi sync.
For me I just bought the paid version, really satisfied using it so far
Also, this app regularly gets updated

ComicRack

You'll still need to import comics to your comic folder on iconia
It's not exactly an online comic viewer like Comixology
You can copy your comics directly to the folder you specified in the Comicrack setting
or using Comicrack for windows to transfer the comic files by 'Synchronize Devices'.



Easiest way would would be to just copy directly to your comic folder but if you want to have comic info displayed like the plot or ratings, you'll need use comicrack for this.
I can pm you the details on how to do that if you want.

Not sure what your preference is since I grab mostly western comics
For mangas, well there's already a bunch of manga reader on google play.
You can just download directly to your iconia, but still you need to move the comic files to the folder that you specified in the comicrack setting.

With 9800mah battery, how long does it usually take to fully charge it?
Also, how's 720p/1080p mkv playback on a510?

Well that was fast, how long is the warranty for it?

If a510 can play these files smoothly, then there shouldn't be any problem playing most of bluray encodes out there.

Thanks for testing the video playback, guess you still need other players like MX/Diceplayer to decode dts audio.

I take it you plugged in an external hdd to play these files rite? Copying 15gb probably takes quite a long time
Can you still keep the tablet charged when connected to PC?
Are the subtitles still displayed on your TV when using the micro hdmi port?
