Do you have this for VW Polo Sedan 2012 model? Also, I read that you are in Klang but the map shows the shop to be in Jalan Ipoh?

I use this to lock my clutch. I wouldn't say it's better than Locktech, but it's definitely cheaper than Locktech with same functionality and more secure than the club type steering lock.

Bro,

I am confused . . . . some recommends RedBat instead of Locktech for my new Myvi.

REASON given was that RedBat keys (holed type) cannot be copied compared to LockTech's (cut style). Both cost around the same price (RM300 v RM320, respectively)

Any user, do share your views.

Thanks in advance

Believed there are super genius in duplicating any forms of keys.

Should say in this way:
Looking at the level of duplicating the key, the holed type is harder than the cut type.

Not only the key itself, sometimes the price is different because of its brand and its production.
See if you prefer for either price or quality.

OK GUYS, I need some FEEDBACK's here. hmm.gif hmm.gif hmm.gif

I just bought this techlock and found out some major CONS here unless you guys can explain to me how to overcome the situation.

The techlock function should be:

rclxms.gif 1) Prevents the gear shifter from being moved from P (brake pedal shift lock system) by prevent the brake pedal to be fully depressed with using this locktech device.

rclxms.gif 2) Ignition cut off with Y socket.

Bypass:

doh.gif 1) Modern car nowdays have shift lock button, this act as a bypass for a gear shifter. without need press of pedal brake, u can still shift your gear by simply push the shift lock button together during gear transition. YES! u still can't use the brake, but who (theft) cares? he still can manage drive away your car with use of hand brake for brakes.

doh.gif 2) ignition cut off can simply being bypass by disconnect the Y socket and connect the socket back as factory setting as its plug n play. right?

I'm here not to sabotage anyone business or try to be theft expert. but I myself figure this out after 1 month of installation.

so the question here, what is the use of this locktech if the security system can be easily bypass. rclxub.gif

I'm welcoming any comment that will counter any of my 'bypass' method so i myself won't feel insecure when park my car with this locktech device.

Thanks for writing your feedback on this item.

Undeniably that the market contains the car theft experts who could disappear your car within few seconds. Although this is rare, what we could do is to enhance the car security such as adding alarm devices or lock systems.
This lock is not easy to bypass, and it needs time to do so. Being the car theft, time is the essence, the shorter time taken is better.

In short, installing this lock would increase the security of your car & the difficulty of losing your car.
Sometimes, it is also advisable to be cross-used with other products to share their respective advantages.
