non motor lens (non SAM/SSM/HSM/USD) is the one using only screw drive ... i tot the LA-EA2 can use those screw drive ones

u have Alpha bodies so i suggest the A mount 30mm f/2.8 coz can be used on both
plus the length of SEL30 f2.8 should be like its kit 1855, is nearly about the same with SAL30f2.8 + LA-EA adapter .
plus with the LA-EA u get more variety AF lenses pair with A mounts

if u sticking to the A mount lens, why not keep the 35mm f/1.8 and get a longer focal macro lens? 50/60/90mm macro
my pancake can AF, just i cant turn the focal ring. it just stuck. SSC say got something stuck inside and they remove it

sadly the EVF can only use on Nex 5N bcoz the hotshoe is abit different (got extra pin i think)

i noticed on my Nex 3 after update have that Micro Adjust setting in Setup menu. but not working on SEL16f2.8 pancake. probably for the 1855 or lenses on LA-EA2 and those supported by the a77/a65
