Haf-x, and bolt it with some GOOD fans. Not some CM 0.16A units. The flow will be cool and nice. It's like a turbo car, it doesn't matter how good the intercooler is if you are just going to bolt it inside the engine bay and let it absorb all the heat. Cheers!

Most people are fine with chassis without a removable motherboard tray. The HAF-X is also a very large chassis so I don't see why would it be hard to work in.

HAF-X if u really need GPU cooling, since they have ducts to direct airflow to GPU area

yeah, most people are fine without removable tray. Large casing gives u more space to work with, better cable management. however with a removable tray, its even more versatile. i do maintenance and i just have to remove cables, and pull out the mobo tray and put it on a table and continue working.

For a non-removable one, I will have to drag the entire casing, put it on a big table, preferably if i can lay down a layer of padding to avoid scratches and etc. My casing bays are all used up accept for 1 empty hdd tray. So you can imagine how heavy it is, not to mention the bulkiness.

so i will look for a casing with removable tray and maybe some people will disagree with me but the removable tray is one of the deciding factor when i buy a casing. no point spend few hundreds or rm1k and later on regret of not buying another casing due to certain features.

Another factor will be of aluminum construction. it is a must for me.

not only does the fan need to move the air from the front to the rear of the casing, it is also crucial to supply cooler air to the prominent heat zones. so you have to look into the casing and see where are the placements or the fans inside and the sizes supported. So better air flow is more or less resulted from good design and good placement of the fans. Good looking casings are not necessary good casing.

HD6990 exhaust air to the rear and to the front. so u need to make sure u have good air flow to cool down the hdds and lower down the temp infront of the 6990 specially if the 6990 is exhaust duct is pointing towards a hdd rack. the card can get pretty hot on intense gaming.

Of course, a removable motherboard tray is a big bonus for anyone who can afford a chassis with such a feature.

But come to think about it, how often do you actually need to take apart your system? The answer is very seldom, unless you're too rich and you're constantly changing parts. In fact, performing regular maintenance on the system e.g cleaning isn't a very tough job. Blowing it with air and brushing it would actually suffice but if you want to take everything apart to clean every single bit of dirt and dust off the parts, that's your decision. You are however using up precious time as the dirt and dust will eventually find their way back into the chassis. Performing a complete system clean-up would be best performed just once every few months in my opinion, while cleaning the system using air and a brush / cloth with everything intact would do once a month, unless the room is very dirty.

Now that I have mentioned it, rather than spend a lot of time focusing on getting every single bit of dust and dirt out, spend more time cleaning the room as that will help even more than cleaning the chassis alone.

This is just my opinion though, and thank you for sharing your opinion.

yeah, it is just how i prefer it to be. if i spend that much of money, i prefer the casing to be more versatile. since i have limited space in my computer room and hard for me to move the entire casing with some many things in the room, a removable tray helps a lot. I dont move it very month but when i want to do something, i would prefer that feature to be available. Anyway, i will be moving to the lian-li which link i posted before. I'm a lian-li fan but was forced to get the ATCS 840 because i got a late reply from the lian-li.

my room is pretty clean but the amount of dust collected at the filters and fan blades are astonishing.

Hurm, i forgot to mention why i prefer raven 03 or 650d is because sometimes i have to transport the rig to my other house on weekly basis so I prefer a shorter case than the haf x. but now the contender is between haf x and raven 03..tough decision..haha

wat for u need the removable mobo traY? u always change mobo? if yes then better dun use casing lor . just expose ur hardware at somewhere which convenience for u

lol dangerous for some of us that have pets and kids bro anyway if TS is stuck between Rv03 and the 650D my preference is the 650D cause its more user-friendly

650D is only a mid case, at RM600+ it seems a bit overpriced to me. Haf X offers great value for it's price. If money isn't an issue, have a look at CM Cosmos S.
