NZXT Phantom, CM HAF X, CORSAIR 600T or 650D?

The prices are slightly over RM600 though...

TBH raven 03 is acutally better then NZXT Phantom because the Rv03 will be noticeably colder compared to the Phantom because of it's floor-to-roof cooling design and it water cools good too. Tho it's all up to you to chose whcih one. biggrin.gif

RV03 actually is quite aggressive imo... the phantom and the fortress series is kinda subtle... truthfully speaking, even the Fortress 03 can fit a HD6990, but it looks like a dustbin tongue.gif (no offence to the owners though)

but the 600T is definitely a good mid tower albeit the price sweat.gif

imho with RM600 budget, any casing is game so long as TS likes it nod.gif

i dont know whether ATCS840 is still available or not but im using it with hd6990.

By the way, if u can afford a 6990, why not spend on a big full tower casing? the card is at 12.25" and bulky.

When you casing is small, everything seems to be crowded and air flow will not be that good either.

Anyway, no matter which casing u r getting, make sure u have enough space for the ventilation at the end of the card which has the power connectors. u will not want to get one which is so near to the harddisk rack.

however, the temp of the 6990 at idle is about 48-50C on 27% fan speed and about 80-86C on load, which are pretty good compared to my old 4870x2. If i switch on air cond, it will be even lower.

Get Haf X. Its the best Full Tower Casing. U can fit anything in it. Some people even put triple radiator in this casing. Put some Red LED fans u gonna get a damn good looking mean machine. RM550 only

Get corsair 600t or 650d. Don't bother with phantom or rv03. Both looks and feel plasticky.

Haf X is big enough.

Another one u can consider but u have to add a lot more cash for it.

For my case, i would also prefer the casing to have a removable mobo tray for easy maintenance. no need to drag or carry the whole big casing up and down. Perhaps not that frequent but it is real tedious to move the entire casing when it is fully loaded.

Full tower HAF X is good in air flow and will fit ur card. Mid tower HAF 912 or 922 and CM enforcer can fit too but the airflow is not good as HAF X. Beware of ur Air flow direction AMD 6990 is both internal and external exhaust.

try reading the manual of both of those casings, imho the raven03 is a tad bit tedious to dismantle albeit the great airflow while the 650D is more user-friendly
