Did u calculate how much is ur baby drinking a day? how many hours apart?

In 3 more months, u can feed ur baby solid and from then on, u can increase your baby semi solid food intake to catch up.

There could be several reasons why your baby might not be drinking milk. Are you feeding him your EBM or FM?

If Formula Milk:

1. He may not like the milk, may be you should consider changing
2. Maybe he doesn't like the bottle nipple, can try changing it and so on...

Hmm.. Encounter this when my son is also few months old. This is my personal experience but does not mean I encourage you to follow it.

My parents and relatives (aunties, not those young auntie) advised me to bring my son to those Chinese traditional babysitter. She will then use a needle to pop all the white spots in his mouth (something like pimples). According to them, these pimples like spots is what hurts when he suck on the bottle teat (don't ask me I believe or not). Cut the story short, it really help somewhat. But I have to say I went twice only, if I'm not mistaken at 3 and 6 months old. After he start teething, I didn't bother.

Like I said, don't ask me whether I believe or not. I also don't know why sucking teat with plain water does not hurt while sucking teat with milk hurt. At least it does work for my son. I have to say, it's not for the faint hearted as you would have to pin your baby while it's being performed and it hurts like hell.
