Use 3rd party UI eg launcher pro, adw, zeam etc for this

All these relates to social hub/networking etc - I don't use at all as I prefer to sue IM+ and the individual apps. As long as you don't use Samsung Social Hub it is ok to freeze it

Is your 3G on ?? Don't worry about data usage - is very low as it will assist in the GPS lockup
My Papago X5 lockup within 3-5 secs no matter where I go. Sygic Aura is even better always immediate to most 2 secs

You can use Tegrak or SetCpu - phone must be rooted na kernels must support either . I underclock and undervolt it too

Any particular reason ; I always do this on all my androids - mainly to save battery life. Slight underclock by 50-100 is always safe. Just have to monitor to see any side effects and if so, adjust back slightly up

all purchaes apps are tied to your gmail account. as long as you sign in market using same id you will not be charge. you can have several android n still use same gmail address the app download will not be charged. it doesnt matter what rom or root you are on. only apple control max 5 devices for 1 app no control for google yet

my advise if you wish yo use apps from blackmarket blame yourself not ghe phone if you have auto sudden reboots, freeze, sudden swing back to homescreen, plenty force closures.

heat buildup is fast if you use phone long on gaming, gps and as a WiFi hotspot. same as my other androids
normal usage is ok. if anyone concerned about its thinness and heat get the bulkier phone many choices available. the sgs II is not a perfect phone. there is none in android.

Unlike some others, I have never been impressed with the iphones, having used the first 2g till iphone 4. They just don't meet my needs. And Steve Jobs is getting to behave like a devil always thinking he is the best and any others are second grades. The iphone 4 I used only less than a month - at least the earlier series 3-6 months. I always believe in being fair and I do not just listen/read - I spend money to buy it to test and see for myself how " great" it is. So it is just too bad , iOS does not impress me but that DOESN't make it inferior to others. But I do believe with iOS5 ( which comes in too late ) , the iPhone series is waking up to its competition

I respect other user's decisions on their choice of smartphones, whether is Windows, Symbian , Android or iOS.

We are just mere consumers and I believe most of us are not even stock holders in Apple or Google - so one should not go overboard declaring superiority of one platform. The platform that meets your needs that is one best choice. One has no right to tell another off just because he thinks differently and has a different perception of value. Those who think they are smarter than others are actually not. I know this very well , seeing so many of such types of personalities in my 40 years of work. Such people in my organization will never move up

The money is mine, I choose to spend on what I deem best for me - it might not be the best in the world. Why condemn one phone /one platform over another unless one gets pleasure out of it ?? What is the purpose - I find it just plain stupidity when passion overcome sense in comparison discussions. Doing comparisons is fine but not to point of condemnation of the product and worse its users - such only just shows immaturity. Along same lines, I have always being asked why I just drive a small car when I can easily even afford to drive a BM or a Merc - simply , that is not my needs. My choice of cars maybe make me look foolish ?? No , the person who so judge me is stupid and foolish. My needs is more on a big comfortable house, which is more important than a nice flashy car.
