actually if u read the thread the guy who first brought this up posted, it's said the awake time is due to the processor underclocking when you go to sleep. Try playing music while go sleep, then u try on again, it will be immediate bcoz the music is playing and the proc is not underclocked. Another thing you can do is to change the cpu governor to performance instead of on demand. or set the minimum clock frequency. I'm using process monitor widget pro to do this.

then your screen will awake faster and your battery will drain a bit faster too tongue.gif

which is why i suggested those steps to see if it improves the wakeup time, so we can find out if it's the rom problem or the processor speed, for me when i have something on the wake up is immediate, when there's absolutely nothing on, the wakeup will take around 1 sec max.

i think ur internal battery defected geh, i remember take out to put sd card, put sim card, check the stickers, my time never reset..

i tried that ad, ONLY root explorer works, u need to to change it to r/w mode, then rename it to musicplayer.apk.bak, then u move it out to sd card, then move the cm7's music.apk inside system/app and install there using root explorer

go and enable usb debugging in settings and end process all your kies.
then when u connected, you put it in either one of the 2 drives that appears.
then u unplug the cable, open ur phone and open My Files.
on top you can see the address, press the up button till the top part says sdcard
that is where u must paste =)

it;s because of the brightness and contrast of the samoled+ , i remember this happening to me when i first time look a laptop lcd screen with high brightness and contrast, after a few days, eyes used to it ad, got stamina ad, then no problem with any screens thumbup.gif

take out battery leave awhile, put it back and try again to enter download mode, press home+volumedown hold it, then only press power button and hold. i kena 2 times ad but both can enter download mode still.

seriously guys, if ur running windows 7 64 bit, chances are high it will fail doh.gif

dunno lor, maybe it's because my drivers, sometimes cannot open port, sometimes cannot start connection, sometimes write failed, sometimes write halfway jam doh.gif banyak error la, usually i restart my laptop when got error and it will work, luckily never once bricked tongue.gif

One bad thing about the CM7 music app is no more notification player widget. One even worse thing about Android in general is, NO WAY TO SET PRESS HOLD VOLUME TO SKIP TRACKS cry.gif

Oh well. Anybody know of a good quality mic adaptor that will work with other headphones? At least there's dozens of apps that use the mic button.

i tried this player called ttpod, had it in my previous phone too, it works very well, has lyrics and album art, and u can next track, previous track, pause and play using only the button of ur sgs2 handsfree thumbup.gif
