Nice set of side lights. I m also interested in getting it. Any1 buying it? I can't read Korean. Got the website in English?
I did ask my SA last time about modding our own light, will void warranty or not. He says that as long as we don't cut any wire then should not void our warranty. |

Hmmm... Looks like white and silver very popular. If I want any of these color have to wait for next week. Platinum graphite got stock. Can give me the car immediatedly also. Btw, I just sign my loan agreement last Friday only.
Wonder if I should just get the PG color since white and silver need more time for washing to keep them clean.... |

QUOTE(mutt @ Mar 22 2012, 10:18 PM) If I am a businessman who need to do frequent travelling I'd definitely buy K5. The 5 years unlimited warranty is a major plus point I am in sales line and I do travel frequently (around 4k to 5k km/month). Thats why I am getting the K5 My choice are either Kia, Hyundai or VW but the K5 design wins me over.. Will update here if I encounter any problem along the way... QUOTE(Jinster @ Mar 25 2012, 09:36 PM) if JPJ 99% allow...85% car owners will do it..including me Ohh.. i didnt know that we are not allow to light up our undercarriage. Maybe I saw too much of the movie where they really mod their car full of lights and race around.. however i think got a few % of people doing it but only lighting their car up on certain occasions |

QUOTE(irangan @ Mar 31 2012, 01:42 AM) Added on March 31, 2012, 1:46 amAnyway, I getting my car in 13 hours ~! HORREY~! Just bought Yuma Coil Mat (inclusive bonnet) from Sh@rty 5 today. Got the special grey color used in C class Mercedes. A bit pricey but the quality is tip top and it is really custom made for Optima. Got 2 years warranty also. Bought also some items from Shark Racing. Anyone can recommend who can help me install those custom emblem? Or I can pull it out just like that. You will be amazed by the handling and ride. Btw.. how much you did you pay for your mat? Any picture? |

Kia Client management Division called today to check whether I have done my 1k km service. I was thinking 'wow', Kia nowdays so good service meh?? Anyway nice that they care for my car...
QUOTE(w111w @ Apr 3 2012, 11:04 PM) Will go for either new camry or vw... If you really think K5 cannot compete with camly... then you better get a camly..Korean..tech really suckss...previously own kia spectra... Initially i tot korean car can give a try but, it really really cannot compete... The only thing kia can do is to win over those youngster by car design... Added on April 3, 2012, 11:10 pm I got the test drive unit via my friend...he keep on recooomend me this car...but after test drive, i feel disappointed with its power.. I think camly is good for you and if you think the interior of K5 is too stylish compare to camly If you think the interior of camly is nicer and wont get outdated in 10 years time, think again... its already outdated now (for me the design of camly is really OLD)... another 10 years also no difference. Hope you enjoy your new camly.... P/S: I bought my K5 without a single test drive.. why? cause I read the forum here and ppl like cm98 and the rest who test drive the car give out real facts, not what they believe or hear from others. I never expect K5 to be perfect but it is way better than 90% of other cars or make within the same segment and price point. Dont let your past experience clout your future judgement! My fc is around 750km.. To Penang last week and some town driving also. Maybe 70/30. It was before my 1st service so go around 100km/hr only. My SA advice me not to drive above 110km/hr before first service. Let the car run-in first.
It's a good thing k5 comes with auto cruise. Most of the time on highway I don't notice my speed is above 120 cause it is very stable. My service mechanic told me he even reach 200km/hr in a test drive car.. Now I m in Kuantan. Pump full tank then drive here. Use only 3 bar of petrol only. Will check again when I drive back. Most of my friends that saw my car fist time says its a Lexus .. So far I am enjoying my ride veri veri much... |

QUOTE(irangan @ Apr 5 2012, 10:30 AM) Wow. Drooling. Very nice but changing to anything above 18" will force us to use even lower profile tyre. IMO, anything below 40/45 series will be too hard for my preference. But good to see such a nice mod Ya...I change to that... That y they don't see any Kia name. They not sure what car it is... Dont go for smaller rim. Will looks like a Sonata if you do that. Haha. I saw few 6.9kg Enkei rim (our one around 11kg) but design not that nice. The one that attracted me around 10.2kg. No different from our stock LOL. Same here. A very fit lady. The "LOAD" button is like that one. Never meant to be 'press'. Touch mode only. I also thought that it is stuck during my first run. Read your manual Chapter 4 Page 130 for more info. Got alot of safety features in place. When got nothing concrete to say, you accuse us for lying. You think that we will lied in a public forum. So that people will buy Optima? LOL Since you are so knowledgeable in rides, please come to our TT this weekend. Come and share your knowledge. Teach me how to track my FC and so on. Of course, I will pay for all expenses incurred for your special appearance and sharing. Oh ya, also bring your expensive ride. I eagerly to learn from you in term of car knowledge. If you are coming, pls let me know and send me your acc number. I will make a transfer. Thanks ya, sifu. Normally city ride hard to save FC due to jam and alot of braking. I think that this applicable to all cars. I personally think that my FC is only slightly higher than my altis. Mostly due to higher CC and weight. Will further observe after my first service. Have you change the emblem? Will looks even like Lexus wannabe if change to this http://www.sharkracing.com/acecart/bin/sho...&cate=030801000 Haha. First impression. Lexus... Will check my fuel bar as cm98 pointed out. I just thought since its a digital meter.. It will gives more accurate reading, like lets says if left 6 bar means we still have 35 liter of fuel left. hmm... I could be wrong... Ooooo... Just notice we past 100 pages. V2 coming? Any sifu here doing v2? This post has been edited by Landy: Apr 5 2012, 12:00 PM |
