i thought that is up to telco charge rate!?  unsure.gif

MMS and video call is based on data usage right?
if wan save money go leech wifi  laugh.gif

ya, is charge at telco rate...but what i want to know is can N9 like E71, which can make Video call n send mms at telco rate, eg video call RM1/minute n 50sen/mms...and connect to the internet when need...

unlike iphone, it will automatic charge the data...i hv heard many cases, which their bill increase alot (cos no data plan) n i no intention to sign up any data plan so far...what i need is to video call, MMS, surfing net when needed.

you can survive without data plan for iOS devices if you are careful, I would probably use my N9 (t-2 more days~) without a data plan since I am always covered by WIFI.

i totally turn off all the 3G, data roaming n etc, only using WIFI....

wah rclxms.gif ...which colour u take??
i went to Nokia store pavillion yesterday, only saw cyan & black color...

there's no video call support as of now, at least no 3g video call and skype video call out of the box but nokia said they are going to include it later
please stop spreading fud, unless the owner is not careful, otherwise using iDevice would not cause mobile data usage shock... (which i think is the same thing for all devices out there)
*
i apologized if i hv discuss something bad...but i js want to clarify whether the phone hv the feature that i need...i dun want after i bought the phone, in the end i need to incurred addition cost to use tat function...and i dun think video call n MMS is the latest technology, why must it need data plan to use it...

maybe most of the smart phone need the internet connection, too bad our telco stil charging high...

Rkg38,
I think what they are to say is all telco also will charge more if you dont have data plan.  for prepaid, it's 10 cent per kb or something. when i dont use data plan, it will charge RM5 just for short time of usage.
Maxis is known to charge more than Digi but coverage better.

How abt this, you wait a few days till we get our N9, then test. Btw, Iphone charge how much more than ur E71& using which telco?
*
im using Maxis, but i hv never try to use iDevice to send MMS,
n i only video call n MMS with my gf only...Main & sub line...

btw, any1 know what is the resolution for the front camera, n can we use the front camera to snap pic??
i tried, but dun know how to switch to front camera...

just found out that i can make N9 not to connect to a WIFI/3G services automatically, so I switched the allow background updates settings on lol~ so hopefully no surprise when the bill comes later in the month (no, I don't sign up to any data plan as of now, and don't intend to lol)
