i want see Ghz Nokia phone running android... lol

Added on June 24, 2011, 5:01 pmjokes aside, i really think nokia shouldnt have abandoned meego, it manage to make 2 years old hardware looks cutting edge on that thing... everything is just so butterly smooth..

since it's running based on linux, i read somewhere that it's easy to just have a emulator running to enable android apps to run on meego itself.. then i say that's epic win for nokia already...

rangers, shall we all give feedback say we want meego? tongue.gif

Nokia N9 could run Android apps: Alien Dalvik interview
Just release the codes man..With or without Nokia's support someone will manage to integrate it in MeeGo 1.2 Harmattan
*
easy solution to help Nokia with their burning platform:
continue with Meego, give money to Myriad to perfect Alien Dalvik, preload with Android market, and done, optimized OS with spammingly lot options for apps

Google Market? Amazon App Store is good enough, and it is great without all the BS of "Google Certified Device"

Nokia, partner up with Myriad, Amazon (Alongside their services such as Kindle, Mp3 etc) and there you are, a feckin ECOSYSTEM.
*
but they chosen Microsoft... seriously doh.gif

anyway, maybe not preloading the Android Market, but as long as it runs apk file it would be already good enough

Surprisingly, i like the blue lol...

but when i tell my intention i would like to get this phone to my friend, first impression.. wHAT?? thatT dumb Phone??

Me: it's not symbian, it's meebo

friend: wtf is that?

Another thing is that why no other maker are willing to invest on meebo, i think it's a very viable OS after all
*
it's not meebo, it's meego.... meebo is that web based IM client

I was thinking if it's possible to port FCAM over? But I do not have the slightest idea on how I should do that. And I know it's the work of others but they did mentioned on porting open-source apps over. Do you have the latest Qt SDK program in your comp? I have just updated it but have not checked it out.

Added on June 27, 2011, 2:36 pmBtw, the deadline is tomorrow. doh.gif

impossible to convert the whole fcam application source code to Qt in a day lar... doh.gif

I think he meant 3G Video Call?
*
nope, he says like iOS, and last i check(iOS user here) there's no freaking 3G video call because steve says 3G network(actually, death grip issue) is too unstable to make a good video call connection

I don't expect 3G video calls in N9.Need to rely on Skype for video call.

iOS do have 3G Facetime with jailbreak right?
*
yes, but what nic said, i understand in the way that it would be default, without really the need of jailbreaking, and also, ironically facetime is just fine with malaysia's 3G connection

if it has viber and whatsapp, and the chinese/english input is not as hard as symbian, then i would gladly use it as my main phone already

so far i notice that some apps are very inconsistent...
i was having a low battery warning just now, and i went and check its battery level, and the percentage is mind blowing... it shows me 0%, and i was like wth...
nvm, so i went to messages and have a facebook chat with andre just now(yes, they integrate im chats into messages, which i like it very much), however the message 'send' button sometimes doesnt respond, i press enter key also no respond...
i feel like there are a lot of idea and innovation behind it but as usual thing with nokia is the implementation of the idea sucks

that explains... mine also facing weak wifi signal issue, i got only one bar where my iPhone can get 2 bars... also, andre how exactly did u solve the battery sucking issue? mine still seems pretty bad, offline mode, 45%, few pictures and a video, 3 hours later it dropped to power saving mode(i set it to 20%) after light browsing...

also i find the touch detection a bit too sensitive? often when i was scrolling gently, it detects as touch. facebook app also hangs and buggy to me most the time. Message facebook chat also sometimes unable to send out messages and there are no way of telling why... >.<

*
doubt that, they will say this model the wifi signal reception is like that etc etc.... salesmen, or even NCC, they will do whatever they can do push responsibility
