indeed very interesting and easy. unlike other bank which need so many steps and condition and even some minor mistake and make you not entitle the interest.
the downside of m2u savers is that the interest is way too low as compared to peers.

investpro need big amount as startup if not mistaken.
stash is also the same.

mbsb no online banking yet. that's the downside. or else instant 2.68 will be good enough for instant liquidity. Or minor emergency funds.

Anyone knows roughly how much profit/interest the m2u savers-i gives compared to the conventional m2u savers?


m2u savers is 1.8% but when I called maybank, they can't give a % for the m2u savers-i to compare. They said I need to wait 6 months to know how many % profit it is.

BTW I'll always have minimum RM2000 inside my account.

i have maybank account.

This recent 6 month, my receive interest is RM0.

Previously 6 months ago, i get interest + hibah.

I duno why i get RM0 in all this 6 months.

did u maintain a minimum of RM2000?

Is average RM2k or must maintain at 2k all the times?

I didnt maintain 2k all the time..

Minimum monthly balance is at last day every month (28,30,31) or got specific day?

Not sure if they calculate by daily or monthly interest but you can try maintaining 2k for the whole month and you will get your interest.
