Just receive my Cooler Master Storm QuickFire.
Cooler Master uses Costar stabilizers and the casing have a very smooth rubber-coating which give is a beauty matt finish.

My conclusion:
- Basically a Filco Majestouch 2 TKL (OEM from Costar)
- Costar Stabilizer
- Lasered keycaps
- Much cheaper than Filco (SGD130)
- Sexy red plate (Red switch model only)

For those who miss their chance to get the Filco R TKL. This is your chance now.
You can order from ->HERE<-

If you don't mind the trouble, perhaps you could consider creating a thread in garage sales offering service to order some of these KBs in for people who can't read chinese sweat.gif

Here's a nicely made guide.
I'm not a fan of chinese zhuyin keycaps. Have it on my FILCO and I think it affects the looks of it. Each to it's own.

Since this is a CM product, highly likely the distro is going to bring it in anyway.

Wow nice. Did anybody see any palm rest on the site?

Voltage does not kill LED! It's the current that kills it. A resistor is usually soldered in series with an LED to control the current flowing through the LED. To match and LED's brightness, you can measure the voltage going across a sample led and attempt to match the current going through the one that you are replacing.

Connecting an led to a low voltage, high current source to an LED without a resistor in series would burn the LED out immediately.

That's right.. I am not sure the current inside a battery.

Most LED control by current instead of voltage.

Example of the lighting LED with your car rear lamp (Myvi).
During tail lamp (on as idle during night time), the input will be 12.8v, 50mA
During tail lamp (on as you step on your break), the input will be 12.8b, 90mA

The reason is that LED work as a diode, only specific amount of voltage will pass through when you apply them (name as forward voltage, Vf)
But I am not sure if you connect a 240v, low ampere input what would happen
*
240V with a capacitor and in series to power the led would work, it would just be like one of those extension bars with light indicator.
240V AC = LED turns into vapor/dusts laugh.gif

That's part of the point I used towel. After it soaks up everything I'll throw it to wash. Leather also stinks if not properly taken cared of. It would just stink like leather band watches.

I meant cherry MX red keys. I saw a few models on diatec's website but they are not available to our market at the moment.

A customer of mine bought this today:

I was given permission to take a peep at it and I gotta say it's very sexy. It's one of those things that picture won't do much justice. When distributor brings in the cherry mx red version I may consider getting my first filco thumbup.gif Now I can only drool.gif

Filco got Cherry MX Red boards. Only one though, the Filco Linear R Limited Edition RM500++ Does that means that Filco will not release mx red boards anymore??? hmm.gif  hmm.gif  hmm.gif

I can't get the linear R at the moment, distro doesn't carry it. I though most manufacturers are pushing red keys now? Don't know why Filco only does brown, blue, black sweat.gif

What's the difference between brown and red other than the tactile feeling on the brown? Specifications show that they both require the same amount of actuation force to press down.

Enjoy bro thumbup.gif

I didn't know the pad is that huge. Exactly how much room do you have for the mouse section with the keyboard on it? The picture is cropped really tight and I can't see how much space is left on where the mouse is sitting on
