as you said bro,i would rather buy a bottle or anything that i have not heard of than imitation of branded goods,i dont mind using cap ayam brand
*
I am sorry. Didn't know my post of humour will end up this way sad.gif
I don't mind paying for quality and established brand when comes to personal health care and beauty products coz I very kiasi... I rather buy a bottle of Brut or Adidas or Playboy frag than those inspired by... In fact I just got a bottle of Brut Musk for less than 30

And bro Kel, I do agree with ur smell similar not equal to copy statement.

Finally... My parcel has arrived... CDG packaging is somehow cheap...

Sprayed 1 spray of CDG on the back of my hand and it was really epic! I think this should be called as spicebomb, well deserved! Initial opening is so so strong, not for the faint heart...monstrous silage... Few feet can smell it.. All the spices come attack ur nose at once and will cannibalize any other scent wear by ur neighbour. One sniff will caused olafactory fatigue, after 5mins the all the spices calm down abit, and u get the harmony honey stirred using cinnamon and sandalwood

Just imagine u walk into an indian spice shop, the boss throw lots of spice powder like nutmeg, clove, coriander etc towards ur face, then only ask u sit down and have a cup of honey with cinnamon stick.

it got this enigmatic and medicinal vibe tat really can seduce ppl lol, couldn't stop sniffing my hand...

It is a very unique fragrance, nearest comparison would be chanel egoiste w/o the old man vibe.. I can see it can be versatile, just wait 15 mins for it to drydown before u leave ur house

If u really love spices, this is the one u must try...
Price wise: 140 for 50ml edp, which 1 spray can last u a day...

This is my 2 sent after trying out 1 spray of CDG edp

hmm dont overly concern bout this.as i remember really well this saying from bro wazzap, worry more bout the harmful chemicals in cigarettes rather than those in fragrance.
*
Haha yea.. Smoking is much harmful lol...
But some perfume need body chemistry or body heat to project... Dior fahrenheit need heat to smell nice... Spray on clothes only get mostly top note...

Good morning to all smile.gif

Have been wearing bogart PH for the second consecutive day, very impressed n happy with it compare to my CDG.
Before I go to share the bogart experience, I wanna pay my full respect to Mr Maurice Roucel for making such wonderful cheapie. And jacques bogart for hiring him to make such beautiful fragrance.

Bogart PH is sexy n masculine. Prominent cherry pipe tobacco scent yet sweetness is subtle. I got 7hrs longevity and ok projection.

The opening is very lavenderish then evolve into a fairly linear tobacco scent. Picture this, ur mum asked u to wash toilet, u went to use this kiwi lavender toilet wash n pour like half the bottle just to scrub 4 toilet tiles... Strong potent soapy mint lavender attacking ur nose, this lasted like 5 minutes, then u sit on top of the toilet bowl, take out ur pipe and start smoking cherry flavour tobacco...

For me it is not a projection monster, subtle 1 ft projection... Expect for the extreme potent opening. I do 2 on neck, 1 on chest; can't breath for like 5minutes then slowly I got the very wonderful drydown...

It has now rise to be my fav, amongst my ck one shock, eau des baux smile.gif

Overall: buy! 70 for 100ml of Maurice Roucel's creation... Mana cari la wei

Is that true? Bergamot is an allergen? What other things should be avoided just in case?
9-10 sprays? That sounds a lot..really a lot
*
Yea 9-10 sprays can kill ppl... Imagine A*men lol... For poor longevity issue, I feel best way is carry a travel-size atomizer around will do.

dis question is need to ask the people who already bought it at the site..  i heard they say 2 weeks..
just back from cod at midvalley with bro kelthuzad for lalique white .. i could say it was fresh scent without sharp opening.. nice. then i go to perfume shop at 1st floor north courth . trying jacques bogart PH .. wat can i say is the smell is so nice.. i hope if bro edward can do some split for me. XD non stop projecting even after u wash it... hahah dangerous stuff here.. if ppl dunt like it will make u suffer for about 4 hour projection after wash... (the reason i wash was to take wudu for evening pray)..
*
Wow surprise MV got bogart, I'm impressed.. How much they are selling?

So far I can't find ppl saying my scent is heavy or choking tongue.gif

Some scents require that many sprays to last. Diptyque's scents are famous for being subtle and soft which is why usually for those you need more sprays.

also, there are some scents thats meant to be used a lot like eau savauge by dior or Guerlain Homme l'eau/l'eau boisee.

Obviously you dont do that with A*men.
*
ic... Never try those tat u mentioned before tongue.gif
I did try more than 5 sprays with unforgivable...

Can get like 7hrs+ on me... Well it does project nicely for an hour or two then slowly fade into skin scent, well romance should be very close contact smile.gif

My gf go crazy when I spray it on tongue.gif

Bro Kel, I am currently perfecting my 8 value bottles for day-to-day purposes. Here are the 7 I got so far:

1. Ck One Shock - staple workhorse scent for me. IMO the only CK that I find it worth having
2. Bogart Pour Homme - My most recent addition, and yet rise to be one of my fav. My staple work scent,
3. L'occitane Eau des Baux - Online review it as poor man's Tobacco Vanille. I can't comment as TV is way beyond my reach. For me, it is sexy, smooth blend of spice n vanilla. One of my staple work scent. Plus my gf love it so much on me
4. Polo Romance Silver - as the name say for itself, romantic scent. Subtle projection, nice longevity. My signature date scent my gf want to smell on me
5. Dior Homme Intense - my no-brainer night-time scent for club, drink, occasionally I wear to work
6. Sean John's Unforgivable - Millesime Imperial anyone? Lol... This is my sprayer-liberal friendly work scent wink.gif it is so aromatic and inoffensive. The champaign vibe never fails to nab u girl in club
7. Bleu de chanel - my go-to frag going grocery, gym, work, hot day etc... it can be wear on any occasion. The chances u bump into any guy with same scent is lower compare to ADG or AHS lol
8. Still looking for a versatile king frag that can alternate with my BDC... Currently looking at polo DB or london... Not really a big fan of fresh or aquatic, so need ur opinion lo bro kel

i think your problem isnt which one to add in,but its which one to get 1st.and then think of one more to add it to 10 bottles.i used to have same concern as u,whichever u choose now,u will end up buying the other one anyway, its just a matter of time,so just get both, but dont buy at retail la.can get both bottles for the price of one at retail price, and with a bit of spare change for coffee
*
Haha..evil la bro lol laugh.gif i think by that time my gf sure kill me edi haha... PDB it is then lol... solid choice?

and actually already have around 10 bottles, 2 failed impulsive blind buy in order to enjoy the free shipping from fragranceX

Oh, these 2 bad boys ! haha. No doubt high quality juices but i agree with u...thats why they are not in my buy-list after tasted them...nearly done so for CDG & I may change my mind soon.hehe. I totally dont dig body kouros but CDG keeps playing tricks on my mind...& skin too, haha. I dont like the submerged in spices kinda thing & yet its a intriguing, dreamy albeit weird scent. I can imagine if i ever (i repeat, ever) buy it, i would ONLY wear it on a cold rainy day/nite, haha.  Impulsive indeed u to do a blind buy on this, haha.
*
Totally true... Impulsive due mainly to the irresistable price from the evil FragranceX

Will purchase from them soon & to pick few from my next consider-to-buy list of CK 1 Shock, Hanae Mori EDT, Bogart PH, Michael Kors, Animale x2, Guerlain Heritage, Boucheron's Jaipur & of course CDG smile.gif)  Need to look out for budget allocation for each round.  tongue.gif
