How long can I keep my perfume before it “turns”?

Some industry experts say that perfume should be replaced every year, but properly stored, perfumes should last much longer. Most perfumes will keep several years, some will keep many more years than that.

To store perfume properly, keep it away from heat and light. A dark closet or a covered box is best. Also avoid direct exposure to air. Splash bottles, which expose the fragrance to air every time they are opened, are problematic. Consider decanting into a smaller atomizer for regular use. If you apply perfume directly from a bottle stopper, wipe the stopper with a clean, lint free cloth before replacing it in the bottle.

If you noticed, there is a period life symbol on every box of perfumes.

as long as you want, but gotta keep it in the right condition, always in their box,out of sun light or flourescent light, not in a hot place/room,no bathroom.i still have about 10 discontinued gems i keep for more than 10 years,2 of them more than 20 years and they still smell the same.but i noticed those thats very synthetic smelling type will get spoilt easier, the opening notes especially

Hi anyone would like to swap with my Givenchy Gentleman 100ml condition new and never use just open plastic wrapping only. I'm prefer to swap with Azzaro Pour Homme or Aramis Tuscany

Guys,
I'm going to France next month (Le May).
Is anyone knew any good perfume shops there that selling niche/designer brand with attractive price?
I plan to get some niche and samples (decant) there.
Maybe somewhere near to Le May or in Paris.
Appreciate if I can have the shops name and location.

Based on my French counterpart here, they said the price there actually quite expensive.
They also prefer to get from duty free shops (airport).
They also mentioned, France also have the imitation one doh.gif (from African countries).

i just bought this last month, its similar to 212 men but spicy and more suitable for air conditioned place and night time, spray too much and will be quiet cloying,3 sprays max,but smells nice,i prefer chic than 212,chic i think is a matured version of 212
